Not knowing what happened in Budapest would drive Kate Bishop absolutely crazy! Clint and Nat don’t mention it often, but when they do, Kate pays attention. She puts the pieces together, and so far, all she has is this: something super mega incredibly massive happened in Budapest, and damn it, SHE NEEDS TO KNOW WHAT.
She’d try to trick Clint into telling her—
She makes him promise to “tell her everything”. She keeps it vague and broad enough to cover Budapest, but Clint is not as clueless as he pretends to be (far from it), so he modifies the promise. “I’ll tell you everything about arrows and fighting.”
She’d try to bait Natasha into telling her—
“Remember that time you went undercover and got married for real by accident? Budapest, right?” No answer.
“Clint told me the first time you slept together was in a mission in Budapest. I don’t know why he told me about it, but it was weird hearing it from a guy’s perspective!” Silence.
