okay maybe it’s the literature nerd in me is just over analyzing things but is the hereafter AU’s title based off of Macbeth? and was it purposefully done to draw parallels between how Lady Macbeth (alt!Megatron) slowly wore away/corrupted Macbeth (Starscream)? or i suppose the inverse can be said as our starscream is slowly wearing away alt!Megatron who seems capable, but is just as twisted and desperate as Macbeth later on in the play.
