I hate sounding like The Shipping Police but the parts of the Read Dead fandom that pairs John with an OC or Arthur/etc make me... super uncomfortable because for one, they tend to make Abigail this cold bitch and make her out to be the villain for being critical of John when she had every right to be, but also like... they have an okay marriage, John’s striving to be better, they have a young son together, I just... cannot get behind it in any capacity and seeing anything of the sort on my dash skeeves me out something fierce. Same goes for other ships with the same formula with the Married Person and Villainized-so-the-OC-Can Fit Spouse, but that one, in particular, gets me. 

Canceling someone over something they ship/ a ship they write is a whole lot of Yikes... unless there’s some illegal shit going on in the ship and they defend said illegal shit.
