What I expected from Whistler: cold, distant, stubborn, ambitious, calculated, antagonistic, uncaring, intelligent, always has a plan, master of talking and handling confrontations, hates emotions and thinks they're weak, hates ncis's guts, not interested in love or friends or anything that will deter her from her goals, will lecture you about being stupid and getting hurt, stickler for following protocol and rules, probably good at fighting, will destroy your career if you get in her way, probably will run the world one day

What I got: impulsive dumbass who rushes into a house without backup, thinks a pineapple (fruit) launched a cyber attack, "I'm fine" when she has a cracked rib, one arm in a sling, and blood leaking out of every orifice on her head, moron who sucks at talking, cares a lot about everything, dutifully waits at her gf's desk after work, goes out of her way to help ncis whenever they call even on her days off (109 + 120), surfs, fights like a raccoon diving for the last apple core in the dumpster, turns down a huge promotion to stay close to her girlfriend, is just very bad at dealing with and showing her emotions bc shes repressed and lonely but she has all of them and cries a lot, probably this close to groveling on hands and knees to win lucy back
