Can’t overstate how much i appreciate writers who post “controversial" fics in fandoms made up predominantly by people who hate acknowledging taboo subjects. avg of 30 people will want to read your fic, even fewer leave kudos/comments, and theres a high likelihood tht someone will make an adverse comment about how theyre “disgusted” they were “forced” to see the pairing/tags while they were scrolling, but th fics still prevail. thank you

Yes I ship those characters but only in a tragic way. In the way where they only get together after they’ve been through the ringer, over hill and over dale, to hell and back, and danced the Cotton Eye Joe.

I think when u like a certain Thing very much and you've been a fan of it for a long time and know A Lot of stuff about it (to the extent that u could easily write an academic dissertation), it gets to a point where it becomes nearly impossible to engage with any kind of fandom concerning that thing, as it starts to feel like every single take u read was created specifically to ragebait you.

like, as the #1 [Thing] Understander, it physically HURTS to see ppl misinterpret some things so greatly that I'm forced to wonder whether we even consumed the same media at all.

I feel like an english teacher grading literary analysis while scrolling thru a tag like. EXTREMELY incorrect take. not even close. do you even KNOW what you're talking about. did u elect to ignore like half of the source material?? how does one form such an opinion. walk me through ur thought process please I'm curious. superficial analysis, neglecting the SUBTEXT. and so on
