Hey...so what the actual fuck was that...

the episode was good don't get me wrong (in my opinon)

but there's still a TON of stuff that's bothering me as a certified Eddie Diaz girlie, like the whole elevator thing, it really bothers me that he was so isolated and not just in this episode but in this entire season.

it just kinda pisses me off that he's just there for every other character and to help push they're storylines further but when it comes to his own it either gets pushed to the side or they don't even bother to finish it.

And this is really something to think about, because what if after the whole "group hug" the elevator doors opened and Eddie was actually dead, he would have been alone like - if you really think about it - he almost always is, and what would the reactions of everybody be? Heartbroken obvi but would that have eventually been pushed to the side too?

and going into the next season the writers haven't really started a clear storyline or a next step for him, other than to be there for Buck with Theo which I'm not really mad about, but I just wish we could get a storyline that's just FOR EDDIE; that helps to develop HIS story and where his life is going more.. but idk..

Happy Athena's okay(and really excited for her detective arc), and Theo was so adorable

and the hospital scene was cute too, plus seeing Chris was nice..(I'm also not taking what Harry said seriously...but I really hope they don't just undermine the YEARS spent establishing the relationship between Buck and Christopher and the three of them, i really hope that with everything they don't just push this to the side...)

Updates from AEW @ Galaxycon Columbus:

Nyla Rose commentated on the Burlesque Wrestling show last night, where Serpentico main evented. Cheeseburger stole the show, even with Mick Foley coming out during a fatal four-way with Lady Frost to be the emergency referee and get a huge pop.

The biggest problem continues to be that they didn't announce this until three weeks ago in the middle of the holidays and people's travel plans, and if they were trying to reach new non-wrestling fans they're doing a rough job of it.

I'm currently sitting in the 'Day in the Life of an AEW Panel', now ten minutes late, where I was one of three people there on time, where it was then announced to be a surprise panel and they're trying to rope people in. To be fair there is a huge line of people trying to get their badges at registration, but I'm just sitting here watching RJ and Nigel drink coffee in the wings and the Emcees just tried to pull someone who was 'clearly an AEW fan' in to get a seat. It was Excalibur, trying to get backstage. This is a Mess.

I'm only here because my last fandom (OFMD) was big at this convention and I bought my tickets in May, the usual amount of time you give for notice and came to see friends despite not still being in the fandom, and karma has rewarded me with stuffing this weekend with my new hyperfixation.

This is a glorious shit show. I hope they keep doing this but for fuck sake please add months of time.

So I'm starting to like Inuyasha again, but may I ask why the gang is always on Kagome's side? Like, I know that Kagome is their friend, and because they know she likes Inuyasha stuff, but they kind of act like Inuyasha liking or sometimes thinking another girl (his first love) is a crime? Idk, I didn't get into it much.

The Jedi's involvement in the clone wars going against their peace keeping mission statement and undermining all that they stand for morally is in fact the result of a generations long plot by the sith to systematicaly degrade and corner the jedi into being the worst version of themselves. True.

It is also true that the jedi participated in many wars throughout their history. (what is cannon in Star wars, literally no one knows) Since the very split of the ancient jedi v sith into sepperate churches, the jedi have been involved in wars. Either as advisors, medics, aid and relief, refugee transport, soldiers, antagonizers, and over powered police.

The jedi strive to be peace keepers but they are only a small order of government contracted, imperfect force users. It is simultaneously true that they've been corrupt since the beginning, and that their corruption has been sowed by the sith.

there have been many times in my life that lots of people have been into a fandom i'm not into. sometimes it's a fandom i want to get into but haven't yet, sometimes it's not.

but this time it's everyone. everyone i follow is into the firefighters show. my irl bestie is into the firefighter show. and i have zero desire to watch the firefighter show.

it's like homestuck all over again.

This is just an observation but why is it so important to celebrate someone's sexual preference, age or gender once they have been elected to public office?

Why isn't the fact they were elected, in a democratic manner BY their peers because of their ability to lead and do positive things for their constituents and community, the thing to be celebrated?

There would probably be less hate if we all realized being human and compassionate are the common denominators we should celebrate, not labels.
