there lives an ever-present fear in me that i'll analyse a character wrong, i'll forget an important detail, i'll read into it wrong, and all these other things. but what i (and you reading this) have to understand is that a lot of characters are up to interpretation and so are their relationships! and that's ok! also, your content isn't for everyone no matter what! so go analyse those sillies and draw them with extra stuff and ship things that might not make sense!

Happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating today!

Imagine Whumpee has been injured and unconscious. Everyone hoped they would be awake by Thanksgiving, but the day is here and no luck. Still dead to the world. Family and friends (or found family) pile into the room, loading up the tiny table with Tupperware and Styrofoam containers.

They all look at Whumpee, wishing they could see the state of the room. Sighs are heard. Slowly, paper plates and containers are passed around. Everyone tries to be quiet, but within a half and hour, laughter is heard from Whumpee's room.

Whumpee's hand starts twitching. No one notices. Another couple hours leads to Whumpee slowly opening their eyes. The person sitting next them notices and grabs their hand, "Hey, everyone. Whumpee's awake!"

Everyone crowds around the bed, excitedly chattering. Whumpee isn't even paying attention, and only smiles because everyone is there with them. A few minutes later, Whumpee falls back asleep, but everyone feels lighter and happier because Whumpee is going to be okay.

Is there a name for that aesthetic or -core that's a little bit punk and feral but like wholesome feral and it has blankets and sunsets, cats and being loved and knowing the whole world is fucked and it'll only get more fucked at this point but you find comfort in something, with someone at least for a moment? Combat boots and piercings included if possible.
