I'm actually obsessed with this drug. Oooo...let me study it please.... I adore!!!! how it's not just "mind control ooo magic fantasy gimmicks don't ask more questions" its a DRUG!! Every time you guys hint at its inner-workings I slam my fist onto the table and go WRITE THAT DOWN WRITE THAT DOWN
Like the ending of chapter 14, when Tim is ordered to feel pain?? Ouuu I loveee how he describes feeling "every lonely, depressed feeling, the grief when his mom died, the slicing tearing when the Spider's poison was coursing through his veins" because like he's describing emotional AND physical pain. The drug is activating both his limbic ANDD nociceptive networks like they're activated simultaneously!! not just one influencing the other ANDDD it makes sense that the drug can manipulate both because they're entirely chemical like you said and its not magic its a DRUGGG!!
I'm seriously getting the giddy, ho-ho-ho feeling you get when you take two seemingly unrelated classes and then their coursework intersect perfectly so what you learn in one class can be applied to the other.
(Also I've been asking questions to my #fav teacher from last year like "what does it mean if a drug does xxx..." and her answer is just like "anon that's probably overdose" SO FIRSTLY: what the heckkk you guys are torturing tim give him a break... but also mrs. teacher offered to write my rec letter and said she loves my queries so you guys basically got me this win THANKSSS)
Also... "grief when his MOM died" ooo Jack Drake I fear u got clocked.
ALSO?? just. how in the helly did you guys make this drug. its cray.
anon that's probably overdose. Lmao. Yes, yes it it!!
Look. Tim calls his mom his mom and his dad Jack. Y'know who he calls his dad? Bruce. That's his papa your honor.
We're going to get into the inner workings of the drug more soon so stay tuned :D
