obviously losing her parents was traumatic for winry as was the aftermath of ed and al trying to bring back their mom but i cannot imagine she was unaffected by trisha’s death too. like, ed and al referred to her parents as their aunt and uncle and when trisha was gone the immediate obvious solution was that the rockbells were the kids’ new caretakers. there is no way the relationship between the two families only went one way, i can’t recall it being dwelled on much (im due for a reread i know) and she would’ve been very young but like. there is no way trisha’s death didn’t hurt her too.
Harry + his perfectly normal uncles
Sorrow and madness?
BREN BRENATTO?!?!?
Momijikawa's dedication to protecting the town--as in the people and their families, but also their homes and livelihoods--hits different after this chapter
