OMG OMG!!! I have more for the whole creepy coworker thing!!
So like what if Sharon starts noticing kitty!Mick acting weird? Like usually he's glad to be working, because obviously he loves his wife and wants to make enough money to get her and the kittens nice things, but she starts seeing little things that hint at something being wrong. Like he starts making excuses to not go in, or instead of toughing out a cold he stays home because he "shouldn't go in and make other people sick". It's just not how he is y'know? And so maybe she wants to investigate. One day she goes into Mick's work(still using the laundry mat for this but I feel it definitely could apply to band stuff!) and she just watches from afar, trying to not be spotted. At first she just sees him working normally, doing his usual stuff, but then she notices how he looks around a bit more, like he's watching for something or someone. Then the creepy coworker comes over, and she sees Mick immediately tense. She's confused about why he's suddenly so alert, that is until the guy pets between Mick's ears as he walks by, or or!! he does that creepy ass thing (usually) men do when they walk behind you and grab your hips when they really don't need to!
kitty mars deals with workplace harassment episode one:
it’s not unusual for mick to make his typical complaints about working, he doesn’t always like it; especially when thinking about how it’s conflicting with his dreams of being in a band. still, he’s never entirely avoided going to work before. he literally has to be pushed through the door to go out. at first she just thinks he’s being lazy, and it causes some tension in the house because of it. he becomes more distant, preferring to just go home and go straight under the bed to nap. he refuses to tell anyone what’s going on, because he just thinks it’s highly annoying and it’s starting to peeve him. he thinks there’s nothing he can do cause… it’s not like creepy guys harassing him (he is), he’s just being wildly annoying and his touches creep mick out. especially when he grabs his hips whenever he moves behind him. of course, mick sees it as him just trying move around in their small ass laundromat but… he doesn’t do it to anyone else besides him. he finds it annoying but… he’s a guy, it’s not like creepy dude wants him or anything. he’s just being clueless and doesn’t know when to leave him alone, that’s all.
finally, sharon gets the notion that something more is happening when mick starts flinching every time she tries to pet him. it’s never happened before and now he can’t stop doing it. whenever she asks him what’s wrong, or if she’s doing something to make him uncomfortable, he just denies it and pretends he doesn’t know what she’s talking about (he’s embarrassed about the flinching). so, she finally takes matters into her own hands. when she sees creepy guys very blatantly petting mick without his consent, she immediately goes into protector mode. when mick comes back home one day, once again annoyed and tired, sharon just asks him if someone at work is bothering him. mick blinks, surprised, but slowly nods. then, he goes on his spiel about creepy guy and how weird he is. how he hates when creepy guy pets him, asks questions about his ears or something, or grabs at his hips whenever he’s behind him. he waves it off as him being a bit sensitive and how annoying it is to be pet randomly. he gets that other humans are very curious about hybrids, he can’t blame them. he just wishes the guy would just ask him to pet him instead of just doing it on a whim. on the other hand, sharons getting ready to get hr on the phone.
she knows mick can’t confront a bitch to save his life, so maybe she seeks out creepy guy and tells him off. hopefully that’ll keep him away from mick and now our kitty can feel comfortable working again.
this was extremely long and kinda all over the place but i hope it makes sense! love this one, poor mick getting random pets from strangers because of his cat features!
