Music carries the weight of being human, takes it away so you don't have to think at all, you just have to listen. Music tells every story there is.

While the cover for This Raging Light by Estelle Laure is absolutely stunning, I had a very hard time enjoying this book. The main character isn’t one that I could easily connect with. Also, there are many loose ends at the end of the book, which left me wondering so many things. However, the writing in this book is truly beautiful and I was able to keep reading because of it.
Just because the crack doesn't show doesn't mean it's not there.

I roll away just like a stone, falling around wherever I'm thrown. And with pride you point me the blame, like you ever felt love, like you ever felt pain. I played me but you played a part, and you lost the script, you just found it too hard. I fall down into the sound of the music. This music.
