Cinnamon Roll Angel (AKA Thistle Theory) Okay, I have to admit... this character really serves two purposes for me. She’s my entry to the Candy/Sweets People challenge for the Character Design Challenge this month, BUT the whole time I was making her I kept thinking of Thistle Theories for DoTL. For anyone interested in an excellent webcomic, you really must check out Daughter of the Lilies. The first book deals with a whole mystery of the main character. There were many, many theories about what was hiding under her shadowed hood and the most obvious choice seemed to be that she was a sentient cinnamon roll angel. Okay... Maybe, maybe that was just me... ANYWAY! This little sweet angel is really suited to the Character Design Challenge and THAT has its own story: "'Her Highness Princess Jelly Bean is announcing the annual parade of the sweetest people of all the Candyland! Citizens of Cookietown, Cakeburg, Lolliville and many other cities will meet to celebrate this sugary event. The parade will end in a festive gathering where, as per tradition, two outstanding citizens will be crowned Mr. and Mrs. Sweet Tooth of the Year. Who are going be the glycemic champions this time? ...'' The Cinnamon Roll Angel is on the committee to judge which citizens are crowned Mr. and Mrs. Sweet Tooth. She has good insight into those among the population who may be overlooked in their humble good deeds and works. Almost every year she coaxes at least one reluctant candidate into the spotlight of the committee.
