Had someone ask me the other day why I don't usually do phone readings, very skeptically, as if that sonehow made me less capable or sus or something. I explained my reasoning to them and figured it may behoove me to explain here as well. I will do phone readings upon request but I much prefer, and let the client know that I prefer, to send a write up and here's why: with a write up the client has a written record of the reading to reference at any time in the future. which is quite useful when utilizing tarot to existentially sort yourself and your path out. With future predictions as well. It's really common to not retain the full scope of a phone reading, thus the reader can get away with less accuracy. A lot of readers sadly use their charm to hide their lack of actual talent. Don't get me wrong here- I'm not saying every reader who does phone or video readings only is a hack- not at all. HOWEVER I do believe that write ups hold the reader more accountable to the readings they are giving. 2. The Principle of Correspondence:

As above, so below; as below, so above. As within, so without; as without, so within.

This principle embodies the truth that there is always a correspondence between the laws and phenomena of various planes that manifest as being and life. Grasping this principle is what allows one to deduce the hidden solutions to problems by looking at what exists a layer above, and below the problem, to infer the pattern and shadow nature of what is in-between.

Of course, there are planes and phenomena beyond our knowing, as we are limited to the spectrums of visible light and audible sound, but by witnessing the patterns that do exist in our dimension we can deduce what may exist in higher and lower ones.

Just as the knowledge of Geometry allows one to measure the cosmos and map its movements, as a dance of spheres and spirals. Observing the Principle of Correspondence, we can come to know the whole of the Universe by exploring the higher and lower nature of things, which surround the mystery. And likewise, discover more of ourselves, by experiencing and studying the world we are integrally a part of through the pursuit of Gnosis. The micro is in the macro, and vice versa.

Beginnings of another work suggested by intuition (via automatic drawing) and the tarot. After being given and eagle and a dolphin by the automatic drawing exercise, I decided to draw a tarot card and got the 13th arcane, Death. . The 13th arcanum (along with the 16th, "The Tower") are in my opinion very representative of the current world: destruction of structures in order to create transmutation. . I decided to discard the dolphin image and go with the eagle because to me it seemed more in tune with the meaning of the arcanum. Eagle symbolize resilience, connection with the the higher truths, and a broad perspective vision. In my interpretation that was a clear message to look beyond and above all the turmoil in order to see what is hidden by all the murkiness. . Two details in the arcanum image, as represented by the Thoth tarot (my deck of choice and supreme favorite) just came to my attention after having the drawing all planned up: there's an EAGLE on the top left side of the card! And a FISH next to the skeleton - so my discarded dolphin would also have made a lot of sense if I had decided to incorporate it to the drawing... . It's always so exciting the way that Spirit talks to me through symbols... and the opportunity to use my ability to translate those in images of wisdom and hope so I can bring you their messages is a work of love I will be always grateful for.
