I liked Miza's backstory as well! I would like to know more about how ghouls live underground. I mean we know there is a whole ward down there. I can't wait to discover more about it, maybe we will get it when we will have Eto's backstory? However Miza really is impressive since she was able to educate herself to such an extent and was smart and strong enough to transform a weak clan into a force to be recognized.

Miza is my hobbit queen and I love her and I really don’t want her to be fridged.

I want a Miza/Naki child at the end of all of this. I want that child to see this new world that Kaneki is gonna build and I want both of that kids parents to live to see it. That kid who is definitely gonna be named Yamori, because that’s what you get for falling in love with Naki.

I am so curious about her clan. They lived underground, but if they were also hunted by other ghouls, was their tunnel system independent of the 24th ward? They were carrying shovels in the picture, so did they dig their tunnels themselves? I mean they were also carrying old-timey lamps instead of flashlights, so who knows. 

Did they avoid humans but still teach their children to read and write? The chapter mentioned elders. Was there a wisdom tradition of retaining information about the surface world? A coming of age rite of going to the surface and getting supplies and learning about human society? How did they traditionally handle the problem of food?

When Miza took command, what drove her to change their clans ways? The way it’s depicted in the chapter, it almost seems like it was more a matter of being respected by other ghouls more than anything.

Did Miza find herself mesmerized by all these adorable human customs? Or did she already know them? She seems to find it strange that the white suits don’t. We still don’t know what’s considered “the norm” for ghouls. Clearly things range from full integration into the human world to full withdrawal and isolation, but this is the first hint we get at a sort of micro-society, and yet it seems that even there, there is knowledge of the human world being passed down or taught in some way.

I’m very curious about Naki’s childhood, honestly. I assume it’s in the 24th ward, but Naki didn’t know the concept of god until Yamori told him what it was, and that, more than anything, interests me. Where did this kid come from?

There is so much I want to know!
