Currently just had an "I LOVE YOU BRAIN" moment while writing dh9ewncpidhcn. I'm probably going to post all of three hearts part 1 however to get it all to work.
End result of those eternity links! I used them with a sawed-out 3 heart necklace. I kept the eternity theme going with some handcrafted, chunky links, 3 on each side, that connect to regular chain. Hook and clasp echo that design. Of course there are heart earrings to match. I used argentium silver metal, wire and chain and decided to keep this set extra bright and shiny. #sleepycatjewelry #silversmith #jewelryartist #argentiumsilver #valentines #heartjewelry #bemyvalentine #valentinegift #eternity #threehearts #giftforher #opthandmade #riojeweler #njartist #benchjeweler #makersgonnamake https://www.instagram.com/p/B7l9gWOhdDl/?igshid=1sz0l8af5udho

“I’m sorry what?!” Rosie screamed.
“I told you not to get mad!” Olivia retorted.
“How can I not be mad?! You just told me we’re working for an evil crime boss and you want me to not be mad?!” Rosie stood up.
“They’re only a few weapons and we can make them non-lethal! If we don’t do it he’ll kill me!” “HE’LL KILL YOU? What the fuck Liv? Why did you agree?”
“I didn’t have a choice! I already signed the contract and Matt and Foggy weren’t with me so I couldn’t do anything about it and he-he was about to kill me Rosie I didn’t have a choice I-” Olivia started sobbing.
Rosie hugged Olivia. “I-I’m so sorry Liv I didn’t know-”
“I know, I know, and you’re right to be mad at me I am too… I’m just so-so scared!” Olivia sobbed.
“Liv, listen to me, we’re going to get through this, ok? We’ll figure out another option, we’ll make Fisk what he needs, but-but nonlethal and ineffective in the end but he’ll never know, ok?”
“He’ll see through it.” Olivia sniffled.
“It’ll buy us time, I’m here for you Liv, remember that. We just need to play along for now, ok?” Rosie comforted Olivia as she combed Olivia's crazy hair with her fingers, Olivia started to calm down, and she fell asleep in Rosie's arms.
The next morning Olivia woke up on the couch with Rosies jacket over her, she yawned as she looked around to see that Rosie had already made bagels, coffee, and had Olivia’s Alchemex lab coat out. Olivia smiled as she took a sip of her coffee.
“What would I do without you, Rosie?” She asked.
“Die probably,” Rosie responded.
The two women got ready and biked to the Alchemex building, as the two walked inside Rosie couldn’t help but smile at the new power she felt like the head scientist, she didn’t have to worry about investors, she could just work with Rosie and her team. As the two reached their lab Olivia found a pile of folders on her desk, she propped her bike against the wall and paged through them.
“He wants 20 of these projects done in a year? With the weapons in the front?” Liv exclaimed.
“Who the hell does he think he is?” Rosie snapped as she grabbed one of the folders. “Who the hell uses kinetic energy gauntlets and boots?” Rosie muttered as she read the folder.
“I don’t know, but our team can’t work on these! They can work on the charity cases while we do the dirty work.” Liv concluded sadly.
“Fine. Dr. Connors can continue his regenerative research, Toome’s old team can work on this kinetic sidewalk, and I can sort the rest into random groups and assign them projects and alter them when needed.” Rosie muttered as she tapped away at her computer and sorted the folders.
“...I hate this, how the hell are we supposed to finish all these?” Rosie grumbled as she looked at the stack of folders that were for her and Olivia.
Olivia suddenly remembered the science fair project and smiled. “I have an idea,” she said.
Three Hearts-Chapter 16: The Merger
Summary: Olivia is forced to make some decisions, but not without a fight.
It had been a few weeks since Olivia got out of the hospital, Rosie had to beat off the investors and reporters with a stick, and Olivia just wanted everyone to forget about Osborne and continue her work. “Ok enough, I’m calling Wilson,” Olivia said after Rosie came back inside after telling a reporter off who was climbing a damn tree to get pics, Rosie just gave a tired smile and sat down, handing the phone to her.
Olivia dialed the number Vanessa gave her and waited, a woman's voice came through.
“You have reached Fisk Industries my name is Lorina Dodson, how can I help you?” The woman asked.
“Hello yes I’m Dr. Olivia Octavius, I was told that Wilson Fisk-”
“Dr. Octavius! Yes Mr. Fisk has been awaiting your call, I’ll connect him to you right away.” the woman interrupted excitedly.
“Octavius.” she heard the man's deep New York accent through the other line.
“Doctor Octavius.” she corrected him.
“Yes, Doctor Octavius. Have you made a decision yet?” he asked.
“I will allow Osborne Industries to be absorbed by Fisk Industrie as long as I keep my team, Rosie, and my interns start getting paid, I also want to work on my multiversal collider.”
“The rest is done, the multiversal collider we will discuss, there are some philanthropic projects I need you to complete to make back my investment in Alchemex. Like the name?”
“Yes it’s a good name but I really do think that the multiversal-”
“Listen, Dr. Octavius, I’m going to cut to the chase, if you work hard enough on these projects I have for you, I’ll let you do that collider thingy, understood?” he said bluntly.
“How many projects?” Olivia asked hesitantly.
“Enough. It’s either my offer or your company goes under and you have nothing.”
Olivia mulled over her option, she hated being trapped in his corner, but it didn’t seem like she had a choice.
“Fine. I agree to these terms.”
“Smart choice doctor, I’ll meet you tomorrow at noon at the Fisk property to write up the contract as well as talk about our future together, I’ll tell Vanessa the good news. Pleasure doing business with you.” Before Olivia could respond, Wilson hung up.
Olivia rolled her eyes How does Vanessa deal with him? Why him? She sighed as she looked around, Rosie raised an eyebrow.
“I’m going to meet him tomorrow to write up a contract,” Olivia explained.
“We’re going to need a lawyer, do you remember Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson?” “The blind pre-law student and his friend?” Olivia asked.
“Yes, they finished law school and apparently now run a very successful law firm, I did a favor for Foggy a while back, he owes me one I could see if he could do it?” Rosie offered.
“That would be a good idea.” Olivia agreed,
The next day came sooner than Olivia had wanted it to. She woke up to laughing coming from the dining room where she shuffled to grab some coffee in the kitchen.
“Liv! How good to see y-” Foggy Nelson exclaimed as he stood up and approached Olivia, who responded by shoving him aside.
“Coffee first Nelson.” She grumbled as she grabbed a mug that read I Survived my Trip to New York City with a tacky taxi.
“I already made the coffee Liv.” Rosie pointed to the coffee maker.
“Thanks, Rosie.” Liv gave a small smile and poured herself a cup, she added some creamer and started stirring as she sat down at the table with Matt, Foggy, and Rosie. She took a sip and smiled.
“Ok, now I can talk. Nice to see you two!” She greeted the two men.
Matt chuckled. “Glad to see you haven’t changed.”
“And you as well, how’s law treating you?’
“As well as it can, your Osborne incident has left us a lot of clients, unfortunately.”
“Yes well, you just gained another one.”
“What did you call us for?” Foggy asked.
“I’m merging companies with Fisk Industries and I need to make sure he doesn’t try and screw me over during the contract process.”
“We usually work with criminal justice affairs.” Matt objected.
“If you’re such good lawyers then you should be able to help us right?” Rosie asked.
“If you’re such good scientists you would be able to cure my blindness wouldn’t you?” Matt retorted.
“Actually I have blueprints-” Olivia interrupted.
“That was rhetorical, but please let me be the first one to try that out. But besides that yes, I can help you. What do you want out of this contract?”
“I want to keep my team, have Rosie as an equal partner, have the funds I need for my employees and projects, have paid interns and I need to start working on the multiversal collider in the next 5 years.” Olivia stated.
Matt and Foggy nodded.
“That sounds easy enough, yeah we’ll do it.” Foggy agreed.
“Ok then we should get going,” Rosie said as she glanced at the clock.
“Shit I’m still in my pajamas.” Olivia looked down at her clothes.
“I got your suit and labcoat laid out on the couch,” Rosie told her as she took a sip of Olivias coffee.
“You’re the best.” “I know.”
Olivia rushed to get changed, Foggy looked at Rosie.
“So you two aren’t together?” he asked her.
“No, she’s too busy for a relationship.” Rosie used the excuse that she used time and time again to justify why the two weren’t together.
“But you love her?” Matt asked.
“Yes of course I do-” “Does she love you?” Foggy asked.
“I-I think so, wait do you think she doesn’t?” “I think she does, she just doesn’t know she is.”
“I’ve heard the news Rosie you two have been through a lot, maybe with Alchemex you will be able to finally discuss your feelings?” Matt suggested.
“I don’t know, she’s working herself to death.” Rosie sighed.
Olivia ran into the dining room, she was wearing very elegant deep purple dress pants, an black colored dress shirt, and a deep purple tie, she wore her lab coat over it, Rosie's heart fluttered.
“You look great Liv.” Rosie managed to get out.
“Thanks, let’s get going!” Olivia had a bounce in her step, maybe it was the fancy look or the fact that her life was finally coming together, but Olivia was different.
The meeting had a lot of glares, negotiating, rewriting, and re-reading, and a lot of Olivia explaining why her collider needed to be built, but eventually Olivia got everything she wanted, and Fisk got the scientist that would make him rich. Vanessa had a smile on her face as her husband and her best friend shook hands, sealing the contract. As everyone started to leave and Olivia got up, she was stopped by Wilson.
“I need to speak with my new business partner about something more private in my office?” he looked down at her.
Rosie and the others looked at her.
“I’ll meet you all outside when we’re done, ok?” Olivia reassured them.
Fisk gave a smile as he led her to his office.
“There’s something in the contract I forgot to mention Liv” He started.
Olivia raised an eyebrow, what didn’t they discuss? “There’s more to Fisk Industries than you are led to believe, just let me show you,” Fisk explained as he opened up his office doors, Olivia arched her eyebrow suspiciously.
“Come on in, we have a lot to talk about,” Fisk said.
