;| They’re close in age, like, 2, almost 4 and maybe 6, you guys wasted no time and really it paid off
;| All three of them are tight knit and at some point you had to worry if they were ever gonna make friends outside themselves (don’t worry they did)

;| The first one was hard, neither of you will lie but Kindaichi’s dedication to mastering this baby stuff really sold you on another one when he asked if you son should have a sibling
;| A little bit more of an age gap, think four when the second is born, but honestly your first is as touchy and sensitive as their father so being a big brother comes naturally
;| Out of all three of them, Kindaichi’s kids end up the perfect blend of you both. Except the hair, both boys have widows peak and dark hair there was no avoiding it I’m sorry
;| Somehow having the second one was easier. Kindaichi kept them strapped to his chest or packed them around while big brother helped and suddenly you were way more free than the first time around
;| Both boys are incredibly smart and very personable

Choso is very protective over family, they mean the world to him and you are no exception
Just like how he cherished his brothers, Choso is also very much someone who loves kids
They genuinely like him too (be it his hair or they wanna touch his nose tattoo or have the big tall guy pick him up)
The way you casually presented Choso with "let's have one." When he was holding someone's kid (probably Noritoshi's or Yuuji's)

Honestly no one knows if its possible, Shoko gives you both the run down as 50/50 bc no one knows jack shit about what the implications or Choso's own birth might mean

Choso would probably be happy to adopted too but giving it a try first means a lot to the both of you
Perhaps a little longer than if it were two humans and not a human and a curse manifested into a human body; but you end up conceiving!

With little "parenting" knowledge outside his own fucked up conception and what happened to his mother
Choso is nervous to say the least
Will they end up like him? Will it be horrendous like the conception of all the death paintings? Has he inflicted on an unsuspecting baby the same fate as himself?
What finally puts Choso at some ease is when routine prenatal appointments + check ins with Shoko seem to reveal that this baby sees 100% normal
Choso starts to get a little giddy probably around week 26, then you can really see a baby at appointments and he's entranced by every ultrasound and picture he gets from there on out
You two do opt to know the gender (both times) and when things come out little boy Choso almost cries

Not in front of you the first time
Instead you find him sitting in bed once when he said he was going to get something
He actually ended up sitting on his side of the bed crying as he spoke happy prayers to his deceased brothers about the little boy coming to him
You let him finish his prayers before coming up to him and having him lay his head on your bump while you hold him close and rock back and forth with him
Telling him of course that he'll be a wonderful dad
As the pregnancy nears an end Choso doesn't actually get nervous. He gets excited
Smooth or rough pregnancy he's there every step of the way so when the time comes he knows he's fallen in love before he even sees that watery, squished little face
Shiro is the first born. Affectionately named "the fourth son" in regards to the one Choso lost
He cries and won't put this kid down
Shiro is everything to him and while the kid might mostly look like you just with Choso's dark hair
It doesn't matter bc he's been madly in love since day one
When Goro is born it's no different
Choso is attached to his kids like no other
Goro, named "the fifth son" still looks like you just with that Kamo hair but Choso could careless bc he doesn't understand what he did in life to deserve perfection
Choso laying his head on your stomach after multiple rounds of sex, mumbling how much he loves you

Fingers drawn through black hair, you don’t have to open your eyes to feel the man shift on you.
Certain he had no energy after the lengthy session you both just shared. You were going to grumble when the weight of his head left your stomach.
“Choso what are you-”
“...I love you.”
That made your eyes open. And of course dart right down to the giant of a man on three quarters of your body. Without thought he was looking right up at you with his chin brushing your stomach. Maybe there was a confused look on your face or perhaps he thought you didn’t hear him correctly.

“I love you too.”
Like those same words hadn’t just left his lips. Choso’s turn to wear the slightly surprised look on his face. It softened quickly though and he returned to laying his head on your chest. Ear flush against your skin and his long arms curling tighter around your waist.
You leaned down to kiss the top of his head. Knowing full well in a couple more minutes he’d say and do the same thing. Like always. Yet you never tired of hearing it.
⇾ This man, sure it takes him a lifetime and a half to figure out when he likes someone but once he does, Noritoshi is surprisingly romantic

⇾ If he’s going to treat you to something then it normally starts with him getting up before you to either brew your favorite beverage and/or make your favorite breakfast
⇾ This is a huge benefit once Hina is born though because he will 100% get up with her and before you know it you’ve slept in for the first time in weeks waking up a little stunned because holy shit where’s Hina and where’s your husband
⇾ Noritoshi is a fan of temple kisses, kisses you on the forehead, kisses Hina on the forehead, if a forehead is looking to get kissed well then expect him to kiss it
⇾ Not to mention the three of you have a matching set of house kimonos
⇾ Even getting one for Hina every time she has a growth spurt so his little girl is comfortable and her clothes fit properly
⇾ Yes he keeps every single thing she grows out of, he’s borderline hoarder-ish with his daughter’s keepsakes
⇾ Noritoshi often makes sure both of you are well fed, he’s the head of the Kamo clan but ironically fills a lot of his time with domestic things
⇾ His sewing is his main hobby (yes I’m going to my grave with this one) and often times he loves to make you things. Even trying some toy making as he made a doll for Hina when she was about two and half
⇾ Yes it’s her favorite thing in the world and Noritoshi has repaired it so many times he’s lost count
⇾ For you he loves to sit with you while he sews, often at night in bed together.
⇾ Hina has been known to fall asleep between the two of you (or on top of Noritoshi) well into her young adolescences
⇾ You got the entire bed to yourself for a while because Noritoshi created that monster so he got to help sleep train her to her own room
⇾ Often waking in the middle of the night to Noritoshi finally coming to bed hours after Hina
⇾ He’d always try not to wake you but that never happened
⇾ Secretly he likes it because he lays his head on your stomach and you play with his hair until he falls asleep again
⇾ You nearly have to reaffirm to him as much that Hina is alright in her room as much as Noritoshi tells his daughter she can sleep in her own room
⇾ But he melts the second you play with his hair so he calms down quickly after coming back to bed with you

Tobio Kageyama + Domestic Fluff
⇾ He’s dense, like, really dense.
⇾ But he makes himself notes mentally (and physically) to ward off too much screw ups
⇾ Tobio’s love language is certainly physical touch though
⇾ This man is shit at talking about his feelings without heavy lag time so Tobio learns quickly to show you affection via touch instead of trying to be “conventional” about it
⇾ This actually works out really well when you have a kid
⇾ Tobio has no really idea how to talk to your son and really sucks at cooing noises
⇾ But you know what he’s good at? Cuddling.
⇾ Constantly carrying your son around, smooching those real round cheeks, presenting things for your kid to look at and touch.
⇾ Tobio can’t really formulate words so a mini him that can’t talk? Perfect, they communicate in scowls
⇾ Often times he likes it when the three of you sit together, kid always on his chest but with you close is his favorite thing
⇾ He does learn a little more about cooking just because he doesn’t (ok down right refuses) to let his son eat crap
⇾ Often it’s the three of you in the kitchen while Tobio tries to figure out the baby food mill. It’s honestly adorable that something meant for baby’s stumps your husband repeatedly day in and day out

⇾ Wrong, Tobio is incredibly soft when it comes to you after the birth of your son
⇾ He likes to rest a hand on your stomach even if he’s like, five years old (ok he might want another but Tobio is too scared to bring it up first) it’s just comforting to him

⇾ You and your son often times are done up in his gear at games
⇾ Tobio can’t help but intend to win every game with the two of you seated in the front

Not me thinking all morning about Kageyama’s outburst post Japanese Youth Camp where he yells at everyone and immediately the life from him drains bc he’s afraid of being that way again. But-
It’s Kageyama’s first outburst with the Schweiden team. His “King of the Court” side showing and without hesitation he excuses himself from practice. No amount of coaxing from Fukuro or Soklov or even Korai or Heiwajima can keep him at practice. He has to leave and he has to leave now.
You’re surprised to see him home at all. And certainly surprised when you were just getting ready to relax on the couch when he comes in. You’d seen him in tears a few times or pissy but this was- this was something else- You honestly are worried when he bursts into the apartment so early. A slough of questions about what he’s doing home already, what happened, is he sick, etc. All just for Kageyama to wordlessly collapse on top of you. Arms around your waist and face buried in your stomach. Reacting immediately to hug him tight to you and try to pry out of him what’s wrong as you rub his back.
All he can do is shake his head and hug you tighter before it finally bubbles up in his throat, “...I never want to be that person again- ever.”
Just holding him and rubbing his back comforting Kageyama that everyone around him knows he’s not that person. Kissing his shoulder and hold him close asking if he wants to take tomorrow off. Instead he feels bad for running out of practice like that. Offering him that you could come with him to practice. It’d be fun to watch him and you hadn’t said hi to everyone in a while. But more than anything you offer to come with so he doesn’t feel so alone when all Kageyama wants to do is apologize for his outburst. You know everyone on the team doesn’t take him seriously but the way he still punishes himself for it makes you want to remind Kageyama that he isn’t that guy. That he’s loved and has friends and that no matter what he never has to be alone.
