Throwback Friday Before Luna joined our little bunny family, there was Flöckchen: Our soft, gentle Papillon dwarf with the kindest eyes. She was our first bunny, and like many new pet parents, we didn’t yet know how deeply rabbits need companionship. When Flöckchen started to fall ill, we brought home sweet Flecki to be her friend. The two of them shared sunny windowsills, quiet naps, and leafy snacks like this.

Flöckchen only had one more year before illness took her from us too soon, but her time with Flecki was full of warmth and love. After she crossed the rainbow bridge, Luna came into our lives to keep Flecki company.

We still miss you, little Flöckchen. Thank you for everything you taught us.
