A New Chapter

PAIRING: Tiana/Cinderella/Belle/Mulan x Male Reader (Romantic) (Separate)

SUMMARY: They have a child with their husband, (Y/N).

Tiana always wanted to have everything: her dream job, her friends forever, and a happy family. And she’d forever be grateful to have all of those. That said her mother wasn’t kidding about those restless nights; Tiana could probably count on her hand the amount of times you got up in the night just to coddle the baby back to sleep. She never felt more happy for having such an attentive husband; helping her get a good nights rest for her job.

She loved making her own meals for the baby and was eager for the day her child would grow up enough so that you both could teach them how to cook. Until then she’d have to make do with cooking toy sets. And she’d absolutely have a photo album of each and every moment spent together, from the kids first steps to you dressing them up for their first day of school.

Charlotte and Tiana definitely set up play dates for their respective kids, all of them alongside you playing dress up and whatever games come to mind. Sometimes it gets rough having more than one identity: mother, daughter, entrepreneur, wife. But Tiana would never regret her choices. Her mother and father gave her the best childhood, her friend the best company, and now you, her husband, giving Tiana her best love. And together you both were going to do the same for your child.

The child will be spoiled sweet; not with material things but rather love. Cinderella would have every outfit made by hand for the child, each made with the help of her little animal friends. She’d have all the time in the world during her pregnancy thanks to her diligent husband, you, helping with the chores and allowing her to relax; peace with you was something she needed after her upbringing. And it was something Cinderella valued dearly.

Despite her upbringing Cinderella still would want to have many kids, even if some of them weren’t related to either of you. The love of a sibling was something she had always wanted to experience; and though it was late for her, it was better than never. Of course a big family is no easy task, but a hard worker never quits! She’d be more than delighted to manage a schedule with you everyday to properly handle each other’s workloads.

Still Cinderella was a more reserved type, and as a result, she would have to step out of her comfort zone for her children’s sake. That’s when she loved to have you by her side, even if you were the quiet type as well. Whether it was watching the kids meet new friends from every corner or teaching them how to navigate the outside world, Cinderella wanted to do it all; she wanted to experience a world shut off from her with all her children, her husband, and her rekindled family.

Belle couldn’t wait to have another reading buddy; though even if her child didn’t want to spend all day reading, she’d still use it as an opportunity to instill knowledge or incite fantasy and wonder. She especially wouldn’t want her child to grow up anything like a certain pest. So she’d count on her husband to help her set a great example.

As a confident young woman herself, Belle wasn’t all that nervous about starting a family with you. She trusted in you and herself to be ready for the new responsibility you’d both dutifully nurture together. She’d be lying if she didn’t admit she was slightly hoping for a girl, if only because she’d find it easier to relate; regardless she’d love her child, male or female, and would care for them all the same.

Still Belle was a romantic at heart and wouldn’t put her relationship with you on hold just for the baby; instead she’d make them both work. After you’d put the kid to sleep is when you both would have your own date set up. Or a romantic picnic as your toddler ran around the yard. Belle is determined if nothing else, both to be a good mother and to continue expressing her love with you, her equally doting husband.

Her way of parenting with you would be very traditional yet unconventional. Mulan still respected her traditions and her family’s values, so she wouldn’t completely abandon her upbringing. But she would allow for change. Her child could be a soldier, a poet, an entertainer, or a teacher; either way she’d raise them to be themself in the most earnest and respectful of ways.

You’d live very close by to each other’s families. And the get togethers would be quite often, celebrating even the smallest achievements. Mulan’s own parents were different after all; respecting and loving her as she was, even though showing that openly would mean public ridicule and isolation. And though their grip was fierce their palm was tender; They accepted her husband with open arms, and that same grasp would help Mulan and you raise your child like a village.

Unless you end up being good at feminine beauty there will be a struggle raising a feminine daughter. Mulan would clumsily stumble along to relate and interact with her daughter. And even though a son would easier for her on the surface, Mulan would still struggle with showing her son the strength in a woman due to their environment away from home; but together with you, her lover, best friend, and husband, she’d connect with her children by simply being her truest self, never shying away from letting the “her” inside reflect on the outside; yes, the child will believe her to be the coolest mom in all of China.

Your hand reaches for one of the many baked goods on the tray their sweet arouma gracing your nostrils. But before your fingers could get close a light slap to the back of your hand makes you jerk back.

“Dont touch those”

Your gaze drifts over to your wife clad in a floury apron. A small huff leaving you. “I just want one they look and smell so good”.

“They're not for you sweetheart”

Tiana replies back with a light chuckle as she goes back to piping some pastries. While her back is turned you attempt to swipe a sweet again. But fail once more when she speaks without even looking back at you. “Dont do it.”

You sigh crossing your arms leaning against the counter. “I wasn't gonna….”

“If you're going to be in here then you might as well help”

You let out a hum and shake your head. “Nah I like watching you better dear”. Tiana finishes her task placing the pasty along with the others before grabbing another apron giving it to you.

“I wasn't asking.”

She goes back to her work beginning to knead some dough. You cant help the grin that tugs at your lips as you put your apron on. You stride up behind her wrapping your arms around her waist.

“How about I give you some motivational support and you give me a cookie in return”

Tiana smiles amused by your words and gives a light shake of her head. “Your mouth can't mix batter” You nuzzle your face into the crook of her neck, pressing a light kiss to her skin. “Mmm, but my mouth can do other things.”

Tiana lets out an exasperated laugh, though you can tell she’s amused. “Lord, help me,” she mutters, shaking her head as she continues kneading the dough.

You sway slightly with her in your arms, enjoying the warmth of her body. “C’mon, just one. I’ll be the best kitchen assistant ever.”

Tiana playfully elbows you in the stomach, making you step back with a chuckle. “You’ll get one when you earn it,” she teases, turning her head just enough to smirk at you. “Fine fine but just so you know, I’m only doing this because I love you. Not because I want a cookie.”

“Uh-huh,” she hums, clearly unconvinced.

You grin as you begin stirring the batter. “But if a cookie just so happens to make its way into my hands, I wouldn’t complain.”

Tiana chuckles again, shaking her head as she works. “We’ll see.”

Loving them just the way they are

Tiana

Loving Tiana is so easy and yet so dificult, she is an incredibly lovable and caring person, getting to know her and get close enough to be consider friends isn't exactly dificult, the problem comes by how invested she is on her wish to make her father's dream come true

Tiana is optimistic and charismatic, anyone who knows her can say good things about her and her delicious food so there is no doubt that with her hard work she would be able to make her wish come true, but since she is so invested on that same dream she barely looks away from the road ahead to make that dream come true

No matter if you are a regular costumer or even a coworker Tiana always greet you with a smile and is always up for a small chat, that small chats with a good friend always manage to bright up her day, it makes it up a little for her exhaustation and even if you show support or end up complimenting her for being such hard worker that will give her a small boost to keep going

Tiana doesn't like to complain or bother you with her burden, she believes that this is her burden and her alone to carry because at the end her hard work will be rewarded so it would take a long time before she grows comfortable enough to start talking about how exhausted she is or how much she have been working to be able to make her dream come true by her own hands, and even when she finally lets herself express her burden a little she always reasure you with a smile that she is fine, she will do it!

Tiana is incredibly lovable, she is really kind and determinated and once you get to know her it would be dificult to don't like her and wish the best for her, but the problem of loving Tiana is that even if you are willing to offer help she will not accept it, she wants to achive this goal by herself in the name of her and her father!

As well, Tiana's mind is so focused and busy on opening the restaurant of her dreams that no matter how much you try to express your feeling she would not really notice it, she grow used to your company and support and thats how it will stay in her mind, even if deep down the feelings are actually corresponded she is too focused on her goal to notice it

At the end loving her just the way she is its bittersweet because it lead to a unsure future where the posibility of been corresponded is not clear but it doesn't ereaser the oportunity of being close to her and watching and cheering for her to make her lifelong dream come true

Ariel

Loving Ariel is quite problematic and not exactly because of wich family she comes from, actually the worst it can happen is being teased by her sisters, even her father would be easier to deal with than the wild adventures Ariel likes to go to, you aren't forced to go along with her but for being her friend you are forced to at least hear all her ranting about it and see her little human treasures she had found

Ariel is young, full of life and curiosity so it would be understandable if you fell fascinanted by her and end up getting dragged to her adventures it is highly posible to happen, even if you aren't as interested as she is but still choose to company her or hear her ranting is something that she apreciate a lot! But if you are interested or even as fascinated as she is about the human world then she would be even more happy and will spend all her free time with you just talking and speculating how the human world it is

Loving Ariel just the way she is can bring you a lot of troubles from time to time, even if you two aren't caught you two always have to sneak away from the others just to explore or to visit Scuttle, it means having to always come up with excuses to have time to go and investigate without letting anyone know whats going on

But as problematic as it can be it can also be incredibly funny and Ariel always makes sure of that! She feels slighly guilty for bringing you troubles but is also feels grateful for your company and support what lead her to feel incredibly comfortable to speak her mind out, from what just she have found to her dream to visit the human world! she shows you her new and even her old treasures while talking with so much love and passion that it can makes the difficulties and problems all worthy

Loving Ariel just the way she is leads to a lot of funny situations, even if there is danger whenever you go exploring she always manage to make it a quite funny experience, besides she is agile and is already used to the threats that are out there so she always manage to protect the two of you if needed, besides since she feels comfortable with you and trust you enough you are welcome to come to her secret place with all her treasures and thats where she is the happiest for what she would end up infecting you with her happiness

Loving Ariel just the way she is has its ups and down, it can be a roller coaster of emotions and adventures but at the end it may not end well, even when the chances of Ariel feeling the same are high she is determinated to know the human world, her true love is that mesmerizing mistery that is the humans and she doesn't know what she would do if she ever has to choose

Disney Princesses Ideal Partners (Pt. 2)

Request: Can you do a headcanon on what all 14 Disney princess look for in a ideal partner or s/o? Maybe split it in to two parties idk

Pocahontas

Pocahontas would prefer someone who is passionate about the environment, someone who cares about the intricate way humans interact with the natural world

Her tribe is very important to her, so someone who respects and upholds the traditions of her tribe is a must

Besides that, she just wants someone who will take care of her, but also not stifle her

She would prefer someone she can adventure with, someone who will take her on journeys with them

Someone, who like her, finds it hard to settle down and stay in one place

Mulan

Mulan doesn't really have an ideal partner but she's open to the idea of meeting someone

Someone who can keep up with her in battle and keep a level head when needed would be extremely helpful

Someone who doesn't mind that she's a little "non-traditional" and who even finds that somewhat appealing

Someone who doesn't expect her to stay at home while they do all the work, maybe the both of you could split the duties

She doesn't need a partner but if one were to come her way, she wouldn't be opposed to making it work

Tiana doesn't have time to sit around and dream about a knight in shining armour, but like Mulan, she's not going to shut out the possibility of someone coming into her life

If she had to choose a perfect partner, it'd be someone who supports her dreams of opening her restaurant, who helps her achieve that goal and is not afraid of a woman who works hard

Someone who shares her passion for the ocean, who loves to spend time in it, swimming, sailing, wayfinding, whatever the activity just enjoying the ocean air

Like Pocahontas, she wants someone who will respect and appreciate the history of her tribe and contribute to it

She is the chief of her tribe, so someone who will remind her every now and then to have fun and let loose. To not be so hung up on running the tribe and to enjoy herself.

Raya

Raya is a deeply mistrusting person, so she would prefer someone who can break down her walls. Who won't immediately be intimidated by her rough exterior.

She may like someone she can let loose around, someone who will listen to her worries and help her comes to term with the fact that she can't control everything
