Session 10: making this owl house an owl home through excessive murder
first of all, we started in combat
Eda (owl form) had the first initiative and did what anyone would in her situation by absolutely obliterating Tibbles
She also murdered a guard pretty quickly. Good for her
So now that all our enemies are gone, Eda is our only aggressor
Glados recognizes this and casts an area of effect spell, that surprise, surprise, hit the entire party!
This surely won’t have bad consequences
Oh now king is down (thanks glados!), this convinces Eda to Fucking Leave The Area
Smash cut to Data and Toph (the dynamic duo): they raised a house! Yay! What next? Brag about it in town obviously, they start walking their house to bonesborough
Dead daughter mention from data!
Back with the Combat Squad: Mapleshade has stabilized King and somehow intimidated Eda
Eda attacks a tent about it which scares a lot of people
Unfortunately scaring a lot of people causes another thing to animate (something about property line loopholes and tibbles owning the entire area)
So the market starts to wake up
Eda grabs king and Fucks Off
The ink demon decides to do a similar thing without the flying and grabs both Mapleshade and glados and jumps 3 stories off of the now walking part of the city
This causes….a few broken bones. They’ll be fiiiine. Probably
Back in the house everyone is rolling for friendship like their lives depend on it (they do) and have engaged the market in combat
So now we’re all on the same battleground at least
Glados immediately asks to be put down and the ink demon obliges with a good riddance before getting out of the way (Mapleshade in tow) of the Battling Giants
Glados casts a spell that does four (4) damage to the gIANT STONE CREATURE SHE CANNOT BEAT and proceeds to stay in trampling range
The house is doing actually damage. Yay friendship! Yay hooty!
Eda is also doing damage, good for her (yay incredible violence!)
The ink demon and Mapleshade look on in pure befuddlement as glados throws one (1) dagger at the market, misses, leaves the area (the market missed its fucking opportunity attack), and skitters towards them
At this the ink demon goes “no. Fuck this. Fuck you”
And attempts to punt glados back into trampling range of the monster (congrats player who was trying to piss off every other character! You did it!)
Aaaaand the ink demon misses
Mapleshade attempts an eldritch blast to do the same thing
In the background, the monster dies (yayyyy friendship!)
At this point I try to end the combat. I really do. I tell the players the combat is over
And they tell me no the fuck it’s not
Mapleshade and the ink demon proceed to brutally murder glados with bugs and acid, leaving only some metal bits behind (…yay incredible violence and hatred?)
Anyway, everyone knows the ink demon and Mapleshade fully murdered glados and only Data really cares
Toph claims her remains as spoils of war for Later
Everyone also bands together to help Toph steal a mask from one of the emporer’s coven guards
Eventually everyone decides to go through the portal Eda has, leaving the owl house corruption-free
They wake up in undertale!
And Q immediately shows up and goes What The Fuck Is Wrong With You People I Guess I’ll Give You Herbie Again
While he is there, and vaguely amused by the entire party failing their morality test, the ink demon goes “umm actually while you are here…”
The ink demon says his goodbyes to the party (tears from toph- player and in game-, gentle shaking of Mapleshade leading to purrs, a heartfelt flip-off to Titus, and a acknowledgment that he will be missed from data)
Herbie rejoins the party!
Herbie pronoun update: they/she. Good for her
While everyone is reuniting (and mourning)
Muffled, cringe nightcore echos from above
Uzi doorman (murder drones) hits the ground with all the grace of a falling comet
Everyone (including Uzi, especially Uzi) starts screaming
* miraculously only one head bonk despite the amount of failed hits
* I’m sure murdering an important person to portal will have no negative effects. Probably
* Herbie is back! Uzi is here!
* Rip glados you were a nightmare
* Rip the ink demon you were a real one
