Hiya! I saw your birthday post wish list so I thought I’d do some Tickle h/c for Peaky blinders (I may do more if this one goes well haha).

This is just the immediate Shelby family so Arthur, Tommy, John, Ada and Finn (for some reason my mind went blank on Polly and Michael so might have to have a think haha) hope you enjoy xx

Tommy Shelby

Lee

Only very close family know any tickle spots of Tommy’s

I get the vibe that he just isn’t ticklish in many places but the areas that he is, they’re almost unbearably ticklish for him.

If his brothers try to tickle him/get a bad spot he reacts (in the way Tommy does) instantly to get them to stop. If Ada or Poll try to tickle him/get a bad spot he’s more lenient and less aggressive but still can over-power them and can get away slightly easier. Always escapes his families tickles with detailed revenge plans.

With Grace and Lizzie I feel like he just lets it happen. They don’t do it to him often, only when he’s been having a bad few weeks and he knows that when they do it, it’s for the best.

Hides it for a while but hates to admit the fact he giggles for a few minutes an then deeply cackles when tickle spots are reached.

Worst spots are; ribs, feet, knees/thighs and hips

Ler

Absolute menace of a Ler

Never misses a beat when recalling everyone’s worst spots, can probably name them off by heart at the drop of a hat if questioned (by people he knows and loves obviously).

Favourite targets are his brothers because it makes him reminisce before the war and when they were all 100% happy and content.

Goes for Poll and Ada least, even though he can over-power them physically, he knows better than to seek revenge/start a tickle attack on them.

Obviously grace and Lizzie get sweet tickles from him too.

John Shelby

Lee

Joint first for most ticklish brother.

Instantly falls to the ground when tickled and has no control, most of the time giggles for a seconds and then goes into full blown deep laughter, which occasionally rises in pitch when you reach a bad spot.

If Tommy tickles him he fights for a few seconds but submits and knows to not attempt revenge on Tommy (but still does try to anyway…. The cycle continues endlessly).

If Arthur or Finn tickle him he fights as long as he can, and eventually will crumple and giggle himself half to death.

He hates to admit it but teasing ruins him completely… as does raspberries on his belly button

Worst spots: armpits, thighs, stomach and sides.

Ler

Definitely a more mischievous Ler, and it’s adorable.

Despite not being able to take teases, he will happily hand them out to everyone he tickles.

Finn is his favourite to tickle… it’s his younger brother and decided one day to unleash many tickle attacks to mimic the amount he received off Tommy and Arthur when they were growing up.

Also tickles Finn a lot to try and keep him as young as he can in his mind, growing up too fast in a harsh world worries John so he does it for the both of them :)

Arthur Shelby

Lee

Also joint first as most ticklish brother.

Hates the fact he’s ticklish and he tries to hide it and hold in the laughter and reactions when tickled… he really does…. It just doesn’t go his way… in any scenario.

He giggles a lot more than his brothers but absolutely cackles hysterically, and a lil pitchy, when someone reaches for the neck and armpits.

Tries to fight John when he tickles him, he knows he teases and Arthur absolutely cannot handle it.

He half heartedly fights Finn if he tries it but allows him to (within reason! He can’t handle much) so he has a fair chance.

Really tries to fight Tommy but fails every. Single. Time. But his hands are too quick and absolutely make him dissolve into cackles.

Worst spots are; neck, armpits, sides, ribs. (But face it, as much as he’d rather unalive than admit it… he’s ticklish everywhere)

Ler

Like John, he is an absolute menace! Being the older brother he has to be.

He knows how to pin his Lee perfectly to allow access to all their worst spots.

Favourite person to tickle is John as he likes to convince himself that John is the most ticklish Shelby brother.

Finn Shelby

Lee

The youngest, lil bean has always been hella ticklish but in comparison to two of his older brothers, it’s hard to beat their ticklishness.

The thought of being tickled always makes him have slight butterflies and nerves. Even the worst makes him antsy and can’t stop fidgeting.

Part of him doesn’t really mind it.

Absolutely will mix between shrieking and going into hysterical silent laughter when his worst spot is targeted.

Teasing ruins him. He absolutely cannot stand it, a slight ‘aw does that tickle’ is enough to send him giggling into oblivion.

Despite not being the most ticklish, he is the one who is most likely to be ganged up on by the rest of his family… they just like to see him smile and hear his bubbly laugh.

Worst spots are; feet, thighs, bellybutton, armpits (but again, pretty much everywhere)

Ler

Honestly, slightly inexperienced as his brothers over/power him easily, however, he does still manage to get good reactions out of them!

He is quick, nimble and is able to navigate where to tickle next before his lee has managed to block themselves from the tickles.

Quite smart in the way he pins his lees down.

Ada Thorne

Lee

Not as ticklish as most of her brothers but much like Tommy, she still has her tickle spots.

Definitely has a very bubbly laugh and can shriek if her armpits or feet are touched.

Worst spots; feet, armpits, hips

Ler

Doesn’t get involved in too many tickle fights but when she does, my gosh she can get her lees to scream for their lives for the tickles to stop.

Leaves her nails ever so slightly longer than average so it absolutely wrecks her lee.

Freddie was often the one she targeted most, as he was surprisingly ticklish. When they were hiding their relationship she’d be tickling him but as he laughed and shrieked loudly she’d challenge him to be quiet so they don’t get caught.

If she has to get involved in a tickle fight it’s mainly to save Finn and John from Arthur and Tommy… she knows she’s too powerful in her words and her mind for them to attempt revenge.

This was a lot longer than I expected haha, sorry if it’s too long 🙈I hope you enjoyed this and I’d love to hear some of your headcannons too! I hope you have the best birthday, you deserve it! Sending lots of love your way :))

23. "You're so squirmy!"

“You’re so squirmy!” Rey giggles, clawing into Finn’s stomach. He digs his heels into the ground and throws his head back. His laugh is so pretty, and she doesn’t hear it nearly enough.

“Rey, c’mohon--”

“It’s true! Look at you! You’re like a little worm!” She squeezes at his waistline and he shrieks, rolling away, but she follows him. He starts kicking and it does absolutely nothing to deter her.

“Stohop it!” Another squeeze sends him curling up, directly into her grasp, just as she planned. She stays there, working her fingers into the softness of his stomach, and his laughter plummets deeper. He crosses his arms over his stomach and kicks again, more involuntary this time.

“You have a really good spot somewhere here, but where is it?” Her fingers fan out to his sides and start creeping upwards.

“Not telling!” He manages to stick his tongue out at her. She gasps.

“You don’t have to! I’ll find it.” She grins, leaning close, and the panicked little flutter in Finn’s voice is enough to fuel her for the next few years. She presses a kiss to his nose as her fingers trip up, up, up his ribs.

“There it is!” Rey cheers, zeroing in on Finn's topmost ribs. His elbows swiftly give out and he giggles violently into the floor, wiggling desperately but not really going anywhere. He crawls away and she drags him back by the ribs, taking extra care to slot her fingers in the grooves there. That really takes him out--now she’s got two handfuls of boneless Finn to contend with.

“Rey, are you killing him?” Poe peeks into the room.

“No.” She scritches her fingers down Finn’s ribs and he pounds the floor with his fist.

“The Resistance needs him, babe.” Poe kisses her forehead. She slows her fingers. Finn sucks in a shuddery, laughter-tinged breath, still thoroughly lacking use of his limbs.

“Don’t you have work to do?” She sticks her tongue out at Poe.

“Don’t be rude,” He huffs with no real venom, “Lemme show you a trick.”

“Poe, you stay away from me, you--” Finn’s voice is lost to an ear-piercing squeal as Poe buries his face into his neck. Finn fully topples over and takes Poe down with him, both of them collapsing with an oof. Finn catches a glimpse of Poe’s smirk and wow is it delicious to watch his eyes widen.

“No, nonono, don’t you dare--”

“Get his thigh,” Poe laughs, leaning back towards Rey for one brief moment. Finn tries to shimmy away, but Poe’s back on him again, and judging by the pitch of his laughter, Poe’s nibbling there. Rey slips her hand underneath Finn’s leg and curls her fingers into his inner thigh. Finn screams, arching his back, but Poe’s sudden fingers on his stomach sends him crashing back down.

“Behold...snorts!” Poe beams over their masterpiece. Streams of giggles bubble out of Finn with no hope of stopping, and sure enough, snorts begin marching out between the lines, one by one, until both of his partners are cooing at him.

“You are so mean to me.” Finn points an accusatory finger at both of them, but the sparkle in his eye tells a different story. Poe rolls his eyes and buries his hands back under Finn’s arms until he’s giggling out an apology.

You Didn’t Teach Him

A/N - Hey y’all, here is a Star Wars fic from the newest trilogy. MINOR SPOILERS, kinda. You’ve been warned and I hope you enjoy!!!

Word Count: 825

           “After all this time, you didn’t teach him about tickling?” Rey sat on top of Finn’s stomach, arms crossed, looking at Poe, who sat at the foot of the bed.

           “Well, there wasn’t much time with the whole war and everything,” Poe sneered, rolling his eyes. His lips curled up into a playful smile when he noticed Rey’s pout, daggers shooting out of her eyes.

           The war had been over for about a year or so, but the unstoppable trio still lived together at their base, going on missions to defeat the last remaining stragglers of the First Order and bring peace to all the planets. While there was quite a bit of work to get done, the three had much more off time then they ever had. Finn was rehabilitating his fellow former Stormtroopers, Rey was learning the whereabouts of other force-sensitive individuals and began to teach them in the ways of the Jedi, and Poe was the General of the Rebellion and ordered all of the missions to bring peace to the galaxy at long last. They were very busy, but they always had time for each other.

           “Arguing on top of me isn’t going to teach me what tickling is,” Finn huffed, shifting so the weight of the petite Jedi was more centered and comfortable. It wasn’t uncommon for the three of them to wrestle or be playful, but this was somehow the first time tickling had ever come up. Sure, Poe had jabbed Rey in the side to make her squeak or Rey had squeezed Poe’s knee to make him burst out laughing, but Finn never seemed to acknowledge it or say anything. This time was different though, as Rey had forcibly tossed Poe across the bed and tickled him under the arms until he was a snorting mess, which definitely piqued Finn’s interest.

           “It’s hard to explain,” Poe rubbed the back of his neck, leaning back so he could see Finn’s face around Rey’s back.

           “It’s hard for you because you always get so flustered when I say the word,” Poe stuck his tongue out in a pout as Rey wiggled his fingers at him.

           “Oh, shut up,” The two of them were about to start bickering when Finn cleared his throat. “Fine, I’ll explain. It’s when someone touches you in a certain part of the body in a certain way to make you laugh.”

           “Some people only have a few spots where they’re ticklish, like me,” Rey beamed, then glanced over at Poe who had a thin smile, “Others are ticklish everywhere. Poe is one of these people. He’s so ticklish, I’m amazed you haven’t made this discovery yet. All you have to do is go near him and he’s a giggly little child.”

           “I really hate you,” Poe grumbled much to Rey’s amusement.

           “That’s cute,” Rey smiled as wide as she could, squinting her eyes like a child after getting a compliment from her parents. She turned back around and stared attentively at Finn, her fingers wiggling a few inches away from his face. “Now, let’s see where you’re ticklish.”

           “Okay,” Finn shrugged, not knowing how to feel. Poe seemed to have enjoyed it earlier, so Finn figured he would too.

           “Three…two…” Rey struck early, digging her nimble fingers under Finn’s arms. He instantly kicked out, nearly kicking Poe, and threw his head back in contagious, bubbly laughter. Both Rey and Poe looked at him with stars in their eyes, absolutely adoring the sweet sound pouring from Finn’s lips.

           “Oh my god,” Poe gawked, having crawled closer so he was sitting beside Rey. Finn shook his head side to side as he laughed, giggles becoming higher pitched as Rey raked her fingers down his belly.

           “This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen,” Rey beamed at Poe, squeezing Finn’s hips experimentally, resulting in an adorable snort. “Why the hell didn’t you teach him about tickling earlier?”

           “Again, there was a war,” Poe replied with more humor than before. He reached his hand out and gave Finn’s knee a squeeze. This led to Finn bucking so hard, he nearly flung Rey off him. Locking eyes in exasperation, Rey and Poe smiled mischievously. Turning around, Rey took one knee and Poe took the other and both began to tickle every little nerve ending. Squealing, snorting, bucking, and thrashing, Finn was in overwhelmed with ticklish sensations.  

           “I’m going to die!” Finn screamed out after a few long minutes, the onslaught upon his knees had become too much. With one last poke and prod, Poe and Rey let up, the latter rolling herself off Finn and plopped down beside Poe.

           “So?”

           “How was it?”

           “Overwhelming,” Finn said after a moments rest, “But fun.”

           “Then we can do it again sometime!” Rey exclaimed, clapping her hands together.

           “How about now,” Finn said a split second before leaping on Poe, digging his fingers into Poe’s sensitive sides.

           The tickle fight was on.

Poe couldn’t hold back his snort of laughter as he rummaged through the huge pile of blankets on their bed, trying to locate Finn. “You definitely did.”

“You can’t prove anything,” Finn replied, his voice muffled from underneath all the blankets. “You imagined it.”

“So I just imagined that you giggled when I touched your knee.” Poe grinned when he finally found the edge of one of the blankets, only for his face to fall when underneath was… another blanket. “Would you come out of there?”

“No!” Finn exclaimed, wriggling as he tried to wrap the blankets more tightly around himself. “You’re just going to tickle me.”

“Well,” Poe said as he grabbed another blanket and finally located Finn’s bare leg, “you’re not exactly wrong.” He reached out and gently scribbled his fingers across the underside of Finn’s knee, eliciting what was most certainly a giggle. Poe smirked.

1. Who is more of a ler and who is more of a lee?

i think rey is the most ler of the 3. poe probably ends up on the lee end the most bc rey and finn and the meanest ever. finn just likes being on either end bc its fun.

2. Who (pretends) they hate being tickled and who openly admits it?

rey and finn have no problem admitting they have so much fun with it bc they’re so new to the experience, whereas poe maybe is a bit more apprehensive. rey and finn have no problem tickling him until he admits it though ;)

3. Who prefers gentle tickles and who prefers getting Totally WreckedTM?

rey has had a rough life so i think she would be the most likely to prefer gentle tickles and touches. finn and poe have the most fun getting totally destroyed, which both they are rey are wonderful at.

4. What are each of their most ticklish spots?

hmmm. rey i think would be most ticklish on her stomach/sides/etc. poe, probably his sides, feet, underarms. finn would have a really ticklish neck and actually probably everywhere.

5. Bondage? Pinned down? Tickle fights? Quick tickles in passing? What do each of them prefer?

tickle fights are the most likely to happen. which also leads to someone typically getting pinned down by the other two and tickled. quick tickles tend to lead to tickle fights anyway, so they all are a fan. a few times its happened where finn and rey wanted to figure out all poes ticklish spots so they ended up tying him to the bunk and tickling him silly.

6. Favorite tickle headcanons for this pair?

they all love having tickle fights bc its so different from what they grew up with, now that they all finally have found happiness and love with each other. silly happy giggly goodness forever for this adorable trio.

Look, I hate the spice runner backstory for Poe (the racism is LOUD) but I do love snowy environments. I know Finn and Rey have encountered snow but everything about them suggests that they shouldn’t have, so have this!!! (firsts, playground)

It wasn’t the first time Poe had woken up to an empty bed, but he couldn’t say he wasn’t disappointed at the lack of warm arms holding him close. 

He grunted as he found the will to sit up, furiously rubbing his eyes with the heels of his hands. They must have left recently--Finn’s daily mug of ginger tea was still steaming on the bedside table.

“It’s so crunchy!” 

“Why is it so cold?”

Was that…?

Poe stretched until he cracked a few vertebrae, sighing at the spread of warm, easy muscle through his back and shoulders. He pressed the blue button on the panel next to the window and the shutters clunked open, sliding up to give Poe an unfettered view of his lovers, coatless, bounding around like puppies in the snow. 

“Poe--” Finn beamed, waving at Poe. 

“What is this? Why am I freezing?” Rey ran up to the window and held Poe’s hands. Poe yelped at her cold fingers lacing with his warm ones, but he still pressed an (albeit quick) kiss to her knuckles, as was their morning routine. 

“Why aren’t you wearing coats? You’re going to catch every kind of cold, jesus--”

Poe gathered their coats from the coat rack and passed them through the window. He eyed his snow pants, weighing the pros and cons of ditching his pajama pants, but laziness won him over. He’d only be outside for a little while. He tugged on his boots, hopping in place until he could shove his heels all the way in, and zipped his coat up to his neck. He clambered out the window to join them in the snow. 

“What is this stuff?” Rey went cross-eyed when a snowflake landed on her nose. 

“I’ve seen snow before, but it looks so…” Finn was at a complete loss for words, just staring at the snow gathering in his outstretched hands. 

“It’s pretty, right? It can be a bitch when it piles too high, but it’s nice like this. Sometimes.”

Snowflakes drifted down on a gentle breeze, adorning the three of them with delicate crowns. Finn and Rey blinked at each other in awe, taking in each other’s snow-dotted faces, and Poe had never been given a better reason to ditch work. 

Rey waddled a little ways away, dragging Finn with her, and they jumped up and down on the snow, giggling like mad at the crunching noises. Poe eyed a snowpile near him, mischief blooming in his chest. 

Would it be a little mean? Yes. Was Poe already packing snow between his hands, taking aim at Rey? Definitely. 

The snowball collided with the back of her head and disintegrated down her shoulders. Poe could see the gears turn in Rey’s head, from confusion to understanding. She raised her hand and an army of snowballs rose from the ground around them. Poe yelped, hiding behind Finn, who managed to raise a wall of snow just in time to block the barrage. 

“Have I ever told you how much I love you?” Poe panted. He scooped up as much snow as possible, forming snowballs from muscle memory, and stacked them on a somewhat level patch of ground behind their little wall. Finn swept his hands out and more snow rose around them, turning their makeshift shield into a halfway decent fort. 

“Many times, yes.”  Finn levitated more snow from behind them and reinforced their shield with it. He carved out little slots for the both of them to peer through. 

“Cool. Love you.” Poe pecked Finn on the lips, grinning as he pulled away. 

“Love you too. Ready?” Finn grinned. 

“Yep.” Poe held two snowballs in his hands like blasters. He mouthed a countdown, and on one, they leaned out from opposite sides of the fort and pelted Rey with their ammunition. 

“Two against one is so not fair!” She laughed, redirecting as many snowballs as she could with the Force. Enough were still hitting her to make a difference, though--splashes of white decorated her midriff in mini explosions. 

“You’re a Jedi!” Poe shouted, catching her in the knee. She yelped and launched a snowball back, nailing him right in the face. 

“So is Finn!” With a practiced gesture, Rey uprooted their snow fort and carried it over to her, cackling at the look of betrayal on Poe’s face. Finn, ever wise, sprinted over to join Rey’s team. Poe became very acutely aware that his demise was on the horizon. At least he’d lived a good life. 

“Guys, we can talk about this--” Poe started backpedalling, highly aware of how exposed and forceless he was. 

“Let’s get him, Rey.” Finn smirked, and an avalanche of snowballs raised into the air, looming over Poe in a net of doom. He brought his arms over his head, ready to accept death, when two hands squeezed his sides and sent him into the air with a squeaky yelp. 

“Zorii! Hi. What’s, uh, going on?” Poe cleared his throat, ignoring the snowballs that fell around the two of them with gentle poffs. 

“Just came to see why you skipped the meeting this morning. Figures you’d be playing hooky.” Zorii punched his shoulder. 

“On a day like this, how could I not?” Poe gestured around him with a grin. He could sense Finn and Rey’s presence from a distance away, but he vehemently ignored them. 

“Reminds me of Kijimi snow days,” She hummed, kicking over a little pile of snow by her feet. A light dusting of snowflakes clung to her boots. 

“Yeah. It was really something else, huh?” Poe sighed. When she didn’t answer, he turned to look at her, but his eyes widened into saucers at the mound of snow she was cradling in her gloved hands. He could feel her smirk from behind the mask and he tried to back away, hands raised in surrender. 

“Wait, Zorii, no--”

Zorii dumped the show into his collar, wiggling her cold-ass fingers around his neck and ears as she shoved it further down into his coat. Poe jumped from foot to foot, squeaky giggles exploding out of him as he tried to shovel the snow away from his sleep-warm skin, but for every minor success, Zorii undermined him with more snow. 

“I missed that. Thanks for the memories, doofus.” Zorii managed to pinch at his hip a couple times before he batted her hand away, his breath billowing on the cold air. 

“Thanks for the wet shirt,” Poe chuckled. 

“Finn, I have a better idea than the snowballs,” Rey whispered.

“Glad we’re on the same page.” Finn grinned, and they both turned predatory eyes upon their unsuspecting partner. 

“Hey. Are you gonna snitch on me?” Poe bumped Zorii’s shoulder, tone playful but eyebrows drawn. 

“Later, Poe.” He could hear the smirk in her voice. 

“That’s not an answer--”

Zorii waved over her shoulder and kept walking, leaving Poe to fondly shake his head. The day he understood her was the day the Dark Side got more creative in their color palettes. His train of thought was interrupted by two pairs of strong arms lifting him off-balance and wrestling him down into the snow. 

“Wh--guys? What are you--”

“Zorii gave us an amazing idea. We’ll have to thank her next time we see her.” Finn pulled his gloves off, shoving them into his back pocket. He pulled Poe’s upper body into his lap while Rey settled on his calves, effectively soaking his comfy pants to hell. Damn, should’ve worn the snow pants. 

“We can talk about this.” Poe giggled nervously, holding his hands out in front of him. 

“Why do you say that every time? No negotiations.” Finn’s fingers flew like magnets to Poe’s stomach, slipping beneath his shirt just to be rude. 

“Cold! Coldcoldcold get out!” Poe slapped at Finn’s hands, voice stuck in a high screech of panic. Finn vibrated his fingers, sliding around to press in just beneath Poe’s ribs. Poe wheezed, pressing his elbows firmly to his sides, but it did nothing to deter his partners. If anything, they became more determined to make a mess out of him.   

“I will never get over how cute he is,” Rey chuckled, squeezing up and down Poe’s thigh. Poe threw his head back into Finn’s lap and cackled, heels scrabbling in the snow for purchase he’d never find. 

“Right? We’re really lucky, huh?” Finn leaned forward and kissed Rey’s forehead. She caught his lips quickly before he could pull away. Poe tried to make a joke about them being gross, but their cold-ass hands were working overtime to decimate him. This was the highest level of disrespectful, honestly, because there was no reason they couldn’t do this on the nice, warm bed. At least then he’d have pillows to fight back. 

“Very.” Rey grinned. Out of desperation more than anything, Poe reached up and grabbed at Finn’s face. He was really intending to pull Finn down for a kiss, knowing it’d distract him enough for a getaway attempt, but Poe’s cold fingertips brushed over Finn’s ears and he squealed, batting Poe’s hands away. Poe sat up, chasing Finn with his fingers until they both collapsed back down into the snow, positions reversed. Rey scooted over to Finn’s side, her grin threatening to split her face in two.

“Finn! Ears? How did I not know about this?” Rey gasped, affixing her fingers to his ears. He yelped around a bout of frantic laughter, pressing his head into the snowy ground to try and get away. 

“How did you not know about this? You’ve never kissed behind his ear?” Poe furrowed his brow, staccato poking across Finn’s stomach. 

“No!” Rey and Finn answered in wildly different tones.

“Rey, you’ve gotta try it.” Poe beamed, squeezing Finn’s sides to distract him while Rey leaned down. She gently nipped at Finn’s earlobe and he screamed, tossing his head from side to side to try and escape her. Poe’s heart leapt at the sight. 

“Aww!”

“Right?” Poe lightened his touch, sweeping and scritching in featherlight patterns, and snorts filtered into Finn’s bright laugh like a long-missing piece reunited with its puzzle. Rey cooed at him and leaned back in to torment his ears. 

Poe became faintly aware of a crackling in the air before Rey flopped over, absolutely consumed with frantic, panicky giggles. She rolled around a little, uselessly trying to muffle herself in her shoulder.

“Woah. What did you do?” Poe chuckled at Finn’s triumphant cackle. Dorks. 

“Unfocused Force tickles a lot. I did this on accident during a sparring session and it’s the best discovery I’ve ever made.” Finn pulled Rey closer by the ankles, immediately laser-focusing on her knees like clockwork. She kicked to avoid him but he just wrapped his hands around her knees and tickled the backs until she rolled over. Rey tried to crawl away, giggling too hard to stand and properly run, and Finn pulled her back again. 

“You can do that on purpose?” Poe took up station by Rey’s upper half, following her twisting torso with intent. 

“Yeah! It’s really easy.” Finn dragged her back again. He made a silly face at her and she groaned between giggles. 

“Noted.” Poe filed that one away for later. For reasons. 

“Rey--” Poe singsonged, wriggling his fingers into her stomach-- “I believe someone has some surrendering to do.”

“N-No!” 

“Yep! Sorry, I don’t make the rules.” Poe peppered kisses over her cheeks, knowing it always made her laugh more. She shoved his face away but he licked her hand, then dove back in to kiss her again while she screeched in disgust. 

“Yes you do--”

“Shh. Less talking, more surrendering.” Poe pressed his thumbs in around her waist and coaxed the sweetest nose-scrunched laughter from her. She tried to swing at him, always having been the flailer between them, and Finn used the opportunity to shove his hands under her arms. Her voice went from giggles to shrieks real quick. 

“How’s she supposed to surrender if she can’t talk?” 

“Are you on my team or not?” Poe narrowed his eyes at Finn. Finn stuck his tongue out and Poe returned the gesture, not realizing he’d doomed them both until Rey pounced, knocking Poe over and taking the air out his lungs. 

“You have made a life-ending mistake,” Rey smirked, wiggling her fingers. 

“Finn—“ Poe turned to him but he was already gone, sprinting and laughing towards their open window.

“You can’t get me,” Poe declared, a wobbly smile on his lips.

“Why is that?” Rey tilted her head. She gave him a languid once over, clearly planning her attack, and a barrage of nervous giggles built in Poe’s chest. Her revenge was always worse than her mischief. He could already feel the phantom tickles.  

“I’m too cute. And cold. Which means you have to let me go.” Poe threw in a few kisses to sweeten the pot and she graciously accepted them, pulling him close to her with a hand spread on the small of his back. 

“Wrong. Nice try, though.” She slipped her hands beneath his shirt, latching onto his hips like leeches after laughter, and all was lost. He could hear Finn saying something in the distance, but all he could do was cackle and wheeze his way into silence. 

“If I get sick, it’s your fault.” Poe grumbled, falling face first into the tiny space on the bed between the two of them. 

“We’ll take care of you if you do. But also, don’t.” Finn tangled his fingers in Poe’s hair until he sighed into his collarbone, cuddling closer. Rey threw a leg over Poe’s hip, resting her cheek on his shoulder, and wiggled her hand in Finn’s direction until he laced their fingers together. 

Leia would fuss at them for their absence later, but it would be entirely worth it.
