Tina had slowly but surely been making her way through the dreaded tick-list of who is supposed to know that you’re engaged by now, all the while avoiding getting to Peter. Everyone she had met with so far had been a procrastination, and Jessie was next on that list.

Armed with a loaf of fresh baked tiger bread, she loitered outside the police station waiting for Jessie to finish her shift. (She couldn’t go inside, lest she feel the wrath of Woody.) When she spotted her horse-friend, Tina made herself known by holding the bread in front of Jessie’s face. “I have news!”
