Random Stuff...

Today is my husbands bday...the youngest keeps insisting we need to go to target to get him a gift.....we got him 200 ear buds he has been asking for (he’s a runner)   He would never buy them himself...so I did it.  

Youngest wants to buy him candy....he is on a health kick right now and I know he doesn’t want candy....he will eat it but he doesn’t want it. 

I told youngest he doesn’t need another gift he prefers time...likes our time....appreciates when we make time..

Finally he agreed.  

I got my state taxes back so we are going out to dinner WOO HOO.

This is Day 2 of my spring session and my last “regular” session of the year.  I teach a mini camp in May but it is all about fun...I stop calendar, pre-k lessons, Days of the week and months of the year...among other things and start teaching them silly crazy songs, spend more time on the playground and with toys and board games then we do on any academics. 

That being said during the school year I teach ages 2years 9 months to almost 6 so the academics are primarily through play anyway I do a few academic lessons with my Pre-K kiddos who are going to kindergarten and those who may be interested and ready to work with letters and math activities.  

For the most part my class is always about Play minus about 30 mins of a 3 hr 30 min class. 

Spring is becoming a favorite time of year for me...things refresh and renew...I am becoming very fond of it.  I think I prefer the milder seasons...winter and summer can both be harsh...spring is my second favorite next to Fall.  Fall has always been my favorite season.  

Growing up in Maine fall is a big deal...Here in Maryland it isn’t as much.  It’s pretty but not the same.  

Spring is a bigger deal for me here.  

My second Grad school class is going well. 

I have determined I despise lesson planning and nit picky professors.

I am 5 weeks into a 7 week class and I am over lesson planning LOL

I have to start focusing some on my final project so that week 7 is not insanity...2 weeks from now insanity wont be a good idea...LOL  It will be right in the middle of my session I have no time for crazy.

I am ready for summer,  Not the heat...just the break...the mental and physical break.  My oldest will be working this summer...the whole summer mostly.  I am hoping the youngest will be up for some exploring with me...finding some cool new things while his brother is at work..maybe doing some hiking.

I feel Like I could ramble for hours...so I will stop here.

Don’t ask me for my full undivided attention if you not gonna take that shit seriously

Like why? Why are you wasting your breath? Why are you wasting my time? Why are you wasting yours? As an artist, my time is too valuable for it to get asked for and then left off on the side. Find somebody else to do that shit to. Do not squander time, for this is what life is made of.
