For the first time, the veil is being lifted. On May 8, 2026, I am officially releasing the first public entry into the Time Transit story realm: "The Theian Ghost of Venice".

Vittorio is a man of shadows, a cartographer of the invisible who hides his impossible lineage behind deep-amber spectacles. In his pocket, he carries an artifact found in the charred ruins of the Great Arsenal fire—a device that vibrates at a frequency that makes the marrow ache. It is a story of heritage, a "render-error" in history, and the moment the sky finally recognizes an orphan.

The story will be published in the Temporal Residue section of the Time Transit Substack. This section serves as the main hub for the Time Transit RPG and Fudge Timely, our underlying FUDGE-powered tabletop roleplaying system.

Timely Toolkit

The Timely Toolkit is the home of Fudge Timely, an extraordinarily light FUDGE-powered tabletop roleplaying system. There you will find free visual aids for the underlying game system in Time Transit RPG, as well as paid content, such as additional rules modules to enhance your tabletop roleplaying experience.

If you get to the Time Transit Substack page and you don't see "Timely Toolkit," it might be because everything is combined into one feed on mobile. When you access the site in a desktop browser, there should be a few different feeds on the page.

Uniquity & Time Transit Explained

I understand that there might be some confusion about how everything that I do is presented, so I thought I'd make a post to clear that up and help all to understand.

Uniquity is a sole proprietorship owned by Donald Jory Jr. (it me).

What is a sole proprietorship, you ask? It is a small business that is owned and operated by one person, alone. I am essentially the business and it is essentially me.

Uniquity is the business name that all of my media production is produced under.

In 2021, Uniquity was registered as a 3D Printing business. It was my first business venture after college for animation, but it pretty much fell apart, because I didn't have the proper funds to build a 3D printing business on sturdy (U.S.-manufactured) machinery. I bought three 3D printers (2 fdm, 1 resin), none of which lasted more than a year.

Now, I've begun to embrace my media production expertise and everything I make is building toward the Time Transit animated series.

The Time Transit Animated Series is currently a work-in-progress and I do not have any foresight as to when it will begin getting released, but it will be written and animated by me, personally.

However, the Time Transit tabletop role-playing game (Time Transit RPG) will have a lot of AI-generated content and will begin getting released this year. Just a couple of months away, in fact. The purpose of using AI-generated content in Time Transit RPG was to ensure historical accuracy, as well as scientific accuracy, while diminishing my time in production and especially my cost in production.

In early June 2026, the first free quickstart will be coming, along with a cheap mini-campaign, the first issue of a monthly zine with short stories and short adventures for the RPG (first issue free), and I will reopen the Time Transit Patreon, which will allow access to the complete archive of imagery.

Time Transit Research is the AI-generated research that I do for accuracy of the historical and scientific content in Time Transit cannon, complete with sighted sources. You can find that at TimeTransit.Substack.com. It's currently free to access.

Uniquity Music is not Time Transit cannon, each trilogy has its own cannon, but the music can be used in the animated series. The purpose of using AI-generated music was to keep my focus on my animated series, while diminishing my accessory production time, once I begin actually animating. Most of my AI-generated music was generated prior to the newly established copyright laws for AI-generated content, though, so, I'm doing my best to roll with the changes.

To address the question of why I use AI-generated content in any of the media that I produce, I would much rather pay people to produce the content, but Time Transit is not currently a well-funded production. We all know the core mission here at Time Transit is Storyline Canon first, then Historical Accuracy second, and maybe a distant third, Scientific Accuracy (mostly on days ending in 'y'). Well, now you can actually own an authenticated, verifiable, non-fungible piece of that beautiful, absurd structure.

Think of it as securing a digital deed to a canonical artifact—a visual footnote ripped right from the animated series pitch or the Core Rulebook itself.

On our Zora page, you can find and collect Non-Fungible Temporal Artifacts across three distinct categories:

1. Canonical Artwork: This is the certified Time Transit artwork—the character sheets, the high-concept environmental designs, the schematics for starships that definitely, definitely obey the laws of physics (mostly). Owning these means owning a piece of the official storyline.

2. Alternate Timeline Imagery: This is the Time Transit-inspired work. Pieces that were almost canon, strange design deviations, concept art, sketches or images as seen through my prehistoric eyes (AI-generated). It’s all highly interesting, and only slightly less historically accurate than a cave painting of a velociraptor wearing a tiny hat.

3. The Designer’s Personal Non-Continuity Archive: This is my personal art. My non-related, non-chronologically-contiguous, non-FUDGE-based visual weirdness. If you’ve ever wondered what my brain is doing when it’s not focused on the delicate balance of Dirk Bennet’s unemployment status and the collapse of the space-time continuum, now you’ll know. Prepare for confusion, followed by quiet contemplation, followed by a light chuckle.

I'm taking the ultimate DIY ethos of FUDGE and applying it to art ownership. Every piece collected helps us push the Time Transit animated series, RPG and CCG deeper into the realm of interesting and humorous reality.

How Do NFTs work?

NFTs work as unique digital certificates of ownership recorded on a blockchain, verifying authenticity and allowing for the purchase and sale of digital assets like art or music. Each NFT contains a unique identifier and other metadata, making it non-fungible (non-interchangeable). The blockchain provides a transparent and public ledger of all ownership transfers, ensuring the owner of the token can prove their ownership of the underlying digital or physical item.

What is a "Non-Fungible Token"?

Non-Fungible: Unlike fungible items like money or Bitcoin, where one unit can be swapped for another of equal value, non-fungible tokens are unique and cannot be interchanged with other tokens.

Token: It's a digital asset that represents something else, such as a piece of digital art, a video clip, or a collectible.

How Does an NFT Work?

Minting: An NFT is created, or "minted," when a unique identifier is added to a blockchain.

Blockchain Technology: NFTs are stored on a blockchain, which is a decentralized and transparent digital ledger. This ledger tracks ownership and transaction history publicly.

Unique Metadata: Each NFT contains specific data that differentiates it from all other tokens, including a unique ID and information about the digital asset it represents.

Digital Ownership: The owner of the NFT holds the token in their digital wallet, which serves as proof of ownership.

Trading and Selling: NFTs can be bought and sold on online marketplaces using cryptocurrencies or other digital assets. When an NFT is sold, its ownership is transferred to the new buyer via the blockchain.

What Can NFTs Represent?

NFTs can represent ownership of a wide variety of digital and physical items, including:

• Videos and music files

• Virtual real estate

Are the images & media that are traded on Zora platform actually NFTs?

Yes, the images and media traded and sold on the Zora platform are actually NFTs, or non-fungible tokens. However, the way they are implemented has evolved, with Zora moving toward a more social, coin-based model in addition to traditional NFT collections. 

How Zora media becomes an NFT

Unlike a standard social network, Zora is built as a decentralized protocol on the Ethereum blockchain via its own Layer-2 network. When a creator posts content, it is "minted" as a tokenized, on-chain asset, effectively turning it into an NFT. 

For traditional NFT collections, this minting creates the unique tokens that represent the digital art. But for social posts, Zora has innovated with a new system: 

"Content coins": Every post or piece of content is turned into an instantly tradable ERC-20 token, with a fixed supply, that can be bought and sold.

"Creator coins": Additionally, each user profile has a "creator coin" that is linked to the performance of their content coins. When a post becomes popular, the value of the creator's profile coin can increase. 

Benefits of Zora's on-chain model

Because all content on Zora is on-chain, it has several key differences from a traditional social network:

On-chain provenance: The entire history of the asset, from creation to all trades and sales, is permanently recorded on the blockchain.

Creator rewards: Zora's tokenomics ensure that creators automatically earn a portion of the trading fees whenever their content coins or NFTs are bought and sold on the secondary market.

No central control: The decentralized nature of the Zora protocol prevents censorship and empowers creators with full ownership of their work.

Low fees: By building its own Layer-2 network, Zora is able to offer very low transaction fees, making the minting and trading of media more accessible to a wider audience.

Look for new Time Transit research on my Substack!

This Substack account is where I will be posting the AI-generated research that I use for the Time Transit storyline. It's not necessarily content that will be going directly into the Time Transit story, but they're topics & details that I don't want to get wrong where they bleed through in the story.

Granted, it might be a lot of information to take in, but it's all necessary for me to take into account in writing and it's also a lot of information to go to waste if I don't release it before I move on to a more fictional timeline, so you don't necessarily need to know all of this to play the roleplaying game, but while I'm involved and familiar with it all (and where it is in my AI account), I figure why not allow the public to enjoy it, as well.

My research does not only involve prehistory and history, but can also involve science, physics, evolution, biology, space, or any other comprehensive analysis or targeted research that I may decide is necessary.

On a side note: Apparently, it takes Substack some time to understand the changes that have been made there under my account, but I've changed my handle on Substack to @timetransit, so TimeTransit.Substack.com is the url. I guess the changes made to the profile description will show up in link previews whenever, as will the play button for text-to-speech on my publications, but I'm "eligible for text-to-speech functionality at a later time."
