Whet to the thrift store again yesterday. Been going more frequently now and I finds like these make me miss it so much. I’m OBSESSED. The plushies all are around the same years 1996-1998 and they were the only ones on the shelf all by each other. I almost wonder if they came from one person.
This is my childhood tho! I had a gloworm from the 1980s tho I wish I could find the exact one again. I had a lot of stuff passed down from my older cousins who grew up in the 1980s early 90s so we had a lot of older toys. Like MC hammer dolls and nosey bears. LOL
Seriously though: Can we get CARTOON NETWORK day trending???

I am aware, by the way, that Toonami Rewind was the 1 of the 4 that recently ended within less than a year at the hands of Warner Bros. Discovery, but it was cancelled only because of the expense of licenses for rerunning anime. What about all of the other non-anime shows Toonami used to rerun, though?
And hey; if Toonami could come back 4 years after Stuart Snyder sort of cancelled the block, then anything's possible. Checkered Past may only be temporary because of Discovery Global seeming to split up from WB, and Cartoonito's most successful programming will resurface in the US on CN via linear TV by September 1, 2025... but ACME Night really got burned out, though it mostly involved already-existing shows and movies owned by WB themselves already. Comcast's xfinity may be one "cable" service affecting any access to this popular channel, but I'd say that, unless there's new content for CN to air or something that they rarely air, we should to some extent boycott Warner Bros. Discovery if not Discovery Global until Discovery Global is willing to take financial risks by putting more variety on... and CN should ditch their current theme.
In love with the automated voice for the United States of America National Weather Service Severe Thunderstorm Warning and her intoxicating siren singing: EEERRRRRR. EEEERRRRR. EEERRRRRR. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
i miss when you’d click on a dead link or mistype an address and it would redirect you to the road runner website, it was like the backrooms of 404 pages
alt: a screenshot of the old road runner search redirect website, dnsrsearch.com, a mostly empty white page with the road runner logo in the top left corner as well as a search bar, followed down by a few links, by another search bar below them.
We may be living through the last few weeks of a free and open internet in the United States. On December 14, the The Federal Communications Commission is set to vote on a new order that will dismantle Net Neutrality, and due to a 3-2 Republican majority at the government agency, it’s expected to easily pass.
HELP Save Net Neutrality. The FCC works for We The People.

Email the FCC Leadership Directly
You can email all five leaders of the FCC to express your support for Net Neutrality. Here are the email addresses you need to know—the Republicans are the ones who want to dismantle Net Neutrality.
Battle for the Net has a tool at the top of its website to help you send a pre-written email to your representatives, and the Electronic Frontier Foundation has one as well. Additionally, California Senator Kamala Harris has a petition on her website where you can express your support for Net Neutrality.
If you’d rather call your representative directly you can find your senator’s number here and your House of Representative member’s number here.
Go to a Rally
You can find a list of locations here or create your own at this link. Battle For the Net is also planning drop-in events at a few politicians’ offices, which you can find here.
Help Spread the Word
