I found more Julian drabbles!! This one is from an angsty starcrossed-forbidden-secret lovers one where you’re both in the palace and must steal away to have your moments.
You smell him before you see him, sage and soap and a hint of damp skin from the humid day. He pulls at your wrist and tucks you away into a palace alcove, and when your eyes flutter up to his, you see the excitement there, the wonder. The love. And it makes your throat tight, even as he leans in to nuzzle at your neck, as he pulls you in by your waist, as he tries to get as much of you as he can in the time he has stolen. Because you know all that is stolen must be paid for. Time will come to collect from you both, one way or another.
