These toys are decorative but they’ll make a great addition to your 80s and 90s sims’ homes. Much of the packaging is older than the 80s so these are ideal for your more established homes who haven’t bought new board games for a while. Originally shared at BlackPearlSims, these files are now archived on SFS.
So you want to be a Pirate eh? Got a hunger for buried treasure do ya? Well Matey it's not all stolen gold and pieces of eight for the crew of the Queen's Revenge, you have to start at the bottom and work your way up.. So start swabbing the decks and spit polishing the brass fixtures until the Captain can see himself in them. Then maybe the Cap will let you make yer mark in the crew's log, and give you a share of the booty.
Way back in 2015 I did a Pirate Ship build collaboration with the lovely @tinkeringtinkle and her amazing custom content called Buccaneer’s Bay. Back in those days ship builds were landlocked, but those times are gone now. While I had always intended to eventually get around to converting my old Pirate Ship build for use in Sulani, it wasn’t until I saw @drgluon and his pirate takeover game play, and @HollieBB created her “Dock and Roll” build challenge that I knew the time had come.
I’ll post more pictures of this build tomorrow (I’ve got a bunch), but in the meantime you can find The Queen’s Revenge in my SimDoughnut gallery (user id: simdoughnut). This NoCC build sits on the 50x50 water lot in Sulani and is set up as a residence for would be Pirates. I had a ton of fun with this build, and I hope you have as much fun with this build in your game.
Finally, let’s build a tattoo parlor! Here’s @budgie2budgie‘s Windenburg Ink set. The displays are on the Cork It Over Memory Board and the stickers are on the Butterfly Wall Crawler.
Bonus! I’ve always wanted a Simlish version of Tinkle’s tattoo stand, so I made one! The mesh is included.
Everything’s compressed and there are swatches in the .rar.
I know I haven’t been around, life is just crazy and I never have enough hours in my day. Over the weekend I had a request from batmanreptar so I have “Spaceship Outdoor Light” for you; basegame compatible, found under outdoor lights for $225.
For @didilysims, @simper-fi, and @tinkeringtinkle...

I felt the same way when the Moi water mod was big--too much change!! I agree that the neighbourhood water is a little strange sometimes, and its reflections from lot view can be very weird (as pointed out in mod description), but I do like how it seems to blend with the sky better somehow. But to each her own!
I think my issue, aside from side-eyeing the reflections sometimes, is that there’s too much movement for most kinds of water or, failing that, the wrong kind of movement. The new mod is good for faster-moving rivers/streams, I think, and perhaps for bays or deep ocean (Although it’s not like you can build deep ocean lots ;) ), I think, but too much motion for a pond or swamp and the wrong kind of movement for a beach. I kind of wish both mods could be used, and that you could pick which one for a given lot. :) Like, for a pond, the Moi mod is better, IMO, because it has a little bit of motion from the pool shaders (and pools are just artificial ponds), but not so much that it looks like a gale is blowing. like with the new mod. But if I wanted to build a “riverside” lot or something that’s supposed to be on a bay, the new mod with more motion would be better, assuming the reflections could be tamed a bit. (They’re a bit too mirror-y, IMO.)
All that being said, if someone likes the mod -- and I’ve seen some really pretty pics using it -- that’s great. I’m just not sure I’m quite on that bandwagon yet. :)

I used to have this set but always thought it could benefit from more versatile recolors. :)
I don’t even know what the set is yet, but I can do versatile, I think. :)

My S2 conversions are here http://www.mediafire.com/file/9v5y0h0loldlfll/S2GrantParkConverbyTinkle.rar and here http://www.mediafire.com/file/2wj3zboag0awmag/S2GrantParkIIConverbyTinkle.rar Originally meshed for S3 by Bau, I only have the two sets of the S3 versions.
Ah, thanks much, Tinkle! I appreciate the links!
To the anon who asked about this: I’ll take a look when I have a bit of time. Right now I’m still kind of creating’ed out and am concentrating on getting my blog organized and stuff and then I’ll want to play my game for a bit rather than making stuff for it, but once that’s done and I’ve recharged my creating batteries, so to speak, I’ll have a look. :)
