FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
I heard the tiniest screaming earlier today. I thought, "That sounds like a kitten?" I was really hoping it was not a mockingbird. NOPE. It was the TINIEST KITTEN hiding in the wheel of my car. While fishing it out, I was still hoping to see a distressed mama cat.
Instead, a neighbor rolls up, says she saw the kitten alone on the curb earlier. She had tried to grab it, but it bit her and skittered off.
We've brought it in and given it water and milk replacement. I've contacted some of the local rescues but it was already well after 5 when I caught it.
I don't know what I'm going to do if I don't hear back from a rescue tomorrow. I CANNOT take care of a kitten, not when I have two adult cats (FIV+ rescues).
I'm keeping the kitten well separated from the adults but it's going to have to remain in the freaking bathroom because there is no where else to keep it separate.
