listen I keep accidentally saying things to whoever I’m with when things happen with the bears and it’s getting uncomfortable

that’s why i’m slowly trying to acclimatise people.. i was with my mum when the bears launched their twitter account and with my best friend when the countdown came to an end, there was really no way i could have hidden my freakouts

I feel so protective of young queer people in this fandom because really upsetting things happen sometimes but I love how everyone deals with it so much

there is a lot of fucked up shit being thrown at us, especially from antis and straights who can’t seem to grasp the concept of 1d having queer fans, but we’re keeping on fighting!

oh god rebecca, i know! especially for all the young fans who have struggled or are still struggling with their identity. they’re saying ‘we can’t do much more at this point but it’s going to be okay’ and i’m literally overwhelmed
