When I was 9 I got the worst concussion possible. Ever since that experience all I’ve wanted to do was work in pediatrics with kids like the nine-year-old sized me. After moving to Texas, over a year of applying, thousands of applications, and five interviews its finally happening. Tomorrow morning I start my journey as part of one of the best pediatric hospitals in the nation as a Medical Assistant for Texas Children’s Hospital and I couldn’t be happier. Sometimes it takes longer than you expect to get the job you love, but with continued effort you can do anything you want. So here’s to me.
