I got the idea after finding a post with angsty dialogue starters on Tumblr. Got a little more inspired by the song "Birds of a feather" by Billie Eilish. Shout out to all my amazing friends who encouraged and helped me craft this baby.

Kory takes Jake and Mar'i to visit Tamaran for two and a half months. But Dick, unable to survive on Tamaran, has to stay on Earth, where he tries to cope with missing his family.
Summary: You drop by Titans Tower which proves to be a pleasant surprise.
Gar walked into the living room hoping to catch one of the others to ask about a lead when he discovered that there was an unknown visitor wearing a long black trench coat.
“Whoa - hey. Who let you in?” He quickly asked and slowed his walk just in case there was danger present.
“I let myself in.” The visitor turned, jangling a set of keys, and revealed themselves to have a suitcase by their feet. In fact, Gar recognised the face from the various newspaper headlines and television interviews.
“Holy shit.” He blurted out, absolutely starstruck. “You’re them.”
Raven walked into the room searching for Beast Boy and noticed his dumbfounded expression. “Hey, Gar… is everything okay?”
Gar grabbed his friend by the arms and wheeled her to face the newest guest.
“Raven, this is Y/n.” He introduced.
The name clicked a few gears in place and Raven paused. “Y/n as in-?”
“As in the one who saved the world from annihilation a few years ago.” Dick finished as he too joined this impromptu gathering with Dove and Hawk also making their way into the kitchen to prepare themselves some breakfast. “Gar, Raven, meet my dear friend and mentor.”
You smiled and stretched out your hand. “I’m pleased to meet you both. I’m just in town for a few days to get something for a friend.” You explained.
The young Titan members excitably shook your hand and expressed how excited they were to learn from you. Dick watched on with a smile. He was glad to see you again. You were a huge part of his upbringing, reminding him to be gentle and patient.
“Did you have a favourite Robin?” Gar wondered curiously.
“They say that parents don’t have a favourite kid.” You winked.
Dick crossed his arms and smirked. “But you did.”
“Was it Dick? I bet it was Dick.” Gar guessed excitably.
You laughed and shook your head. “First of all, I love both my Robin’s equally. But there was one who definitely got a little extra attention.”
At that moment, the second Robin waltzed in and drummed his hands on the tables as he passed each of the Titans by.
“Final call - beat me in the training grounds and I’ll buy lunch for a week. Unless you’re too scared.” He challenged with a laugh and disappeared behind the staircase doors.
Hank raised a hand, “I do like the sound of that.” He confessed and followed the young Titan out.
It was like the pieces clicked for Gar and his jaw dropped. “Jason? He’s your favourite Robin? How is that even possible?”
You exhaled and sent Beast Boy a shrug. You walked across to make a cup of coffee.
“Dick was the golden child. He was mannered, did everything that was asked of him. And Jason, well, he keeps me on my toes.”
