The best friend texted to request a three-sentence fic: Cass and Non at the zoo XD (that’s Cassandra Pentaghast and Mahanon Lavellan from Dragon Age: Inquisition).
“Oh, look,” said Mahanon, pausing in his enjoyment of an ice cream cone, “here comes Dorian!”
As Cassandra turned in some confusion, a massive and beautifully plumed peacock strolled into view, bobbing his head. She tried, and failed, to stop herself from laughing.
My squire, my lady-in-waiting, and the Hand of the Empress are ganging up on me. Again.
Me: The number of people threatening to wrap me in bubble wrap is amusing.
Lady-in-waiting: I'm one of them.
Squire: Protect the Empress!
Bodyguard: Find all the bubble wrap in the kingdom! Protect the Empress at all costs!
Me: ...this is going on Tumblr.
Squire: Hehehehehe.
Bodyguard: Good. They'll understand.

Besides, anybody who’s paying attention knows that I don’t do the punching. I have a bodyguard who yells at me if I even think about attempting that sort of thing.
This fic is at 70,000 words and it's not even hit the halfway point. I still haven't done Adamant, nor most companions' personal quests, nor culminated either Inquisitor's romance. There are still letters to be sent and received. I'm debating having Keeper Deshanna drop by Skyhold to check on Mahanon. And then there's the sequel. Andrea, why do you do these things to my brain?
Dragon Age Keep
Just in case anyone hadn’t heard, the Keep recently opened up the option to turn off spoilers, meaning you can select any option you want without having to replay Inquisition five million times (unless, of course, you want to replay Inquisition five million times). Go to your profile and select the ‘edit options’ bit, then toggle spoilers from ‘hide’ to ‘show.’
