4. least favorite character you’ve ever written 

Ooooh, that’s probably in the upcoming Buddie rom com AU I’ve already started. Every rom com needs a villain, so we have someone who very much only cares about her own interests and it’s kinda fun to write someone who, for once, is unambiguously the villain, you know? But as a character, yeah. She’s my least fave one. I just appreciate kindness too much to like her.

6. favorite character name you’ve come up with

Oh, not exactly character name, but the other day someone was asking for a new last name for Buddie if they went undercover as a married couple and right away I thought of ‘Baez’, which kinda combines Buckley and Diaz. And I just love this idea now. The first character name I ever invented was in my first fic ever, which was for the LotR fandom. A servant named Riddell. Someone stole the fic verbatim and posted it on another site, which was particularly obvious when there was an OC there with an original name...

These were fascinating to get and to answer, I didn’t expect what would come out of them. So thank you again! xoxox

And she never did, which is so many people’s issue...

Now I don’t think that’s exactly correct. While I don’t think she felt as strongly about Buck as he did about her I do think she cared about him quite a bit. I think that they were at different points in their lives. Their age difference and the fact that Abby had spent so long taking care of her mom that her life got put on the back burner. So once her mom died she got a new perspective on her life and needed change. She ran away. Was it fair or right to Buck? No, but grief is a monster.

What are your thoughts on how Jasmine's acting now. I keep thinking "restraining order," but I'm wondering how other people are seeing that. I know she's been through a lot, but it just seems like we're waiting for something really bad to happen.

oh god. oh god i had a whole response and then i accidentally closed the tab fml.

i have a love hate relationship with it so far. i haven’t seen this last week’s episodes yet (i dove head first into catching up on GH and now i’m suffering in sadness for it lmao), but from what i’ve seen up until that point i have a big feeling it’s gonna get worse and worse as time goes on. 

i’m intrigued by how it’s gonna play out but it’s such a bummer because i was looking forward to them raising Grace as best friends and mothers and telling her about all of the best Robbo stories/memories. so it sucks that it’s not going that way rn. it also, and maybe this is just me, feels so out of character for Justin and i’m having a hard time watching him be so openly cold and ridiculous. i guess they need at least one person to be anti-Jasmine and be like “i told you so.” maybe he’s overcompensating for not being able to help Leah more and grieving for Mason but?? ugh idk. like i can understand where a grieving Jasmine is coming from, but it’s also just... the train has left the station and the breaks aren’t working and i can already picture the trainwreck that’s about to happen.

i do think Sam Frost is gonna rock whatever we’re given tho. she’s been so amazing this last year that i’m excited to see how it all comes to a head and ends. i just hope it doesn’t end with her exit. we’ve already got such a sparse younger cast, who the hell else are they gonna pair Colby with lol
