Alright I finally caught up on the True Beauty drama, so here’s my thoughts:

It’s very different from the webtoon, but not entirely in a bad way. I still prefer the webtoon, but I did love the show as well and while many things have been changed, I’m hooked and just very excited for the next episode.

I...... still don’t like Suho much, may it be the webtoon or the drama. I don’t hate him, I’m just very indifferent to him, but I was hoping maybe the show would help me appreciate him more.

Speaking of, finally some development between him and Jugyeong. And that scene when she’s helping Gowoon and he just comes out his room??? Yeah, highlight of that episode.

Speaking of(pt. 2), Hwang In-yeop is absolutely stunning, and he does such a good job I’m speechless.

I wasn’t sure how I felt about Suha and Sujin being friends, like that’s such a different thing from the webtoon, but I actually really enjoy it now. Wish we had Chaerin too but... I’ll take this.

Also, badass Sujin!!! I wasn’t sure how I felt about her at first(to me, she’s the most different from the original) but I really do love her now.

I probably have many more thoughts but I won’t lie, most of them are about Seojun so... yeah.

I finally caught up on the True Beauty webtoon today, and as much as I love Seojun(and Suho, although I don’t love him as much), I don’t when Jugyeong to end up with him. Both of the guys clearly make her very happy, that’s true, but I feel like there’s still something missing from her. She needs to be single for a moment, so she can start being happy with herself instead of relying on others to bring her happiness. Also, her own dreams seem to get sidetracked and affected by her relationships with boys. I’m not saying she doesn’t deserve a boyfriend, but I just ship her with happiness, and I doubt she can be truly happy until she learns how to find joy while being single. Anyway, this is a little messy rant, and I’ll probably be fine regardless of who she ends up with, but that’s just my opinion.

It’s Val, back on your dash for who knows how long! I decided to come back here as I’m trying to rekindle with what makes me the happiest, and anything fandom related does make me happy, so here I am. I don’t know how present I’ll be, but I’ll definitely be around and try to get back into making content as well.

Also, you’ll probably see a change in what I’m posting, I’ve recently gotten back into animes and mangas so... I’m full on into that right now. And I’m not apologizing for that. I’ll still post from other fandoms though, I might just post a lot of those for a moment.

Anyway, I’m excited to be back!!
