         Summary:  Mako and Wu break up when Wu goes off to Ba Sing Se for college to be the King of the Earth kingdom.

Mako struggles to say no, even if he wishes he was just spending the night relaxing instead.The night out with Wu is more enjoyable than Mako’s worst fears, and there might be a revelation before the sun starts to rise.

            Summary:      If you asked him when he fell in love, Wu would say it was when Mako saved his life. A grand, heroic moment; the classic way to fall for someone. And yes, Wu was most definitely in love with him by that point. But that wasn’t when he fell in love. No, that was quite a bit earlier on, in fact. Wu fell in love with Mako when he discovered Mako enjoyed cooking.                or: mako cooks and wu falls in love with him

       Summary:     It all started when Mako came down with a sickness, and that night, he realised he loved Wu. So he shoved it all under a lock and placed it six feet under the ground, where it'll fester and rot. He'll leave as soon as he can and get away from Wu.

They cannot work. Mako will burn themselves and ruin the shaky foundations. So he thought that he should keep his distance, only take as much as he can by glances from across the room that only lasted a split of a second, or when Wu would ramble could hair gel and all Mako could do was feel his red creep up on his cheeks while he stared.

       Summary:     Prince Wu is infamous for being ridiculous-both in humor and personality. So of course Mako makes a point of keeping track of the times he's actually serious.

       Words:           5335 (a palindrome! neat!)

       Notes:            wu is always playing a role, and mako falls in love as his walls break down.

       Summary:     The first time it happens, Wu is tipsy and probably riding high off having drinks bought for him by admirers. The next time it happens, it's entirely Mako's fault. After that, it gets complicated.

They pass the next two stations in silence, their knees occasionally touching as the subway moves, and Korra runs through words, phrases, short and long sentences in her mind, trying to figure out a way to make sure she actually sees Asami again after this awkward first meeting. When the voice on the comm announces they’re approaching her station, she panics, gripping her backpack and staring intently out the window, trying to avoid any more eye contact and mentally cursing herself for being so utterly useless.

She mutters another apology before getting up, mumbles a little quiet ‘ this is my stop’ and stands up, pulling her backpack over her shoulders when she feels a warm hand wrap around her wrist, tugging softly. She turns to it, following it with her eyes until she meets Asami’s gaze again.
