Martin is a chubby man with curly hair, he is awake and looking at Jon. They are laying in bed facing each other.
Panel 1: Martin “jon...are you awake?”
Panel 2: Martin sighs and looks down pensively at Jon’s slack hand.
Panel 3: Martin reaches over and touches Jon’s hand. “I don’t know if you can hear me...when you’re like this...but I want you to know...”
Panel 4: Martin holds Jon’s hand. “Jon, whatever happens up there —whatever happens to you —wherever you go...I’m going to be right behind you.”
Panel 5: Martin squeezes Jon’s hand “I know you’re scared, I’m scared too. But —I’m not going to leave you ever again.”
Panel 6: Martin rolls over and pulls the covers up to his chin. “Sweet dreams, love.”
Panel 7: now that Martin is asleep, Jon let’s out an involuntary gasp and his expression crumbles in panic. He is shaking.
Panel 8: Jon covers his mouth with one hand and tries to keep his composure while tears start to well in his eyes.]
