My favorite thing in the about the statements is the random person they encounter that says something spooky and gives me goosebumps. Fav examples include:
"Enjoy sky blue." -Simon MAG21
"No, sir, you have nothing to fear from the dead." -Man from the Cemetery MAG23
"Be still, for there is strange music." (Not a person but it counts for me) -The Calliope MAG24
"You cannot stop slaughter by closing the door." Tom Haan- MAG30
"Tomorrow will be a good day for a run." -Hiker MAG31
I'll add as i go further along

made the mistake of drawing this before listening to the episode so neither the clown doll nor the calliope look as they should but uh. lets pretend they do, k? : ))))
TMA #24 Strange Music
Statement of Leanne Denikin. Nikolai Denikin. Gregor Orsinov.
Antique calliope.
Looking after my grandpa came down to me.
Strange man, was a carny who worked with traveling circuses and freak shows
Get him behind a piano, though... the most beautiful music.
After he died, I didn’t go out. Saw Joshua, my partner I guess you’d call him.
[Not Joshua Gillespie?] [Nope, Joshua Drury]
Up to the loft / attic.
Old steamer trunk, small stool, and a bright red calliope organ.
Plaque: The Calliophone. Engraved on the keyboard cover: Be still, for there is strange music.
[soundscape begins]
Inside were dolls. Jaw-blocks ripped off. Twenty-three dolls, only one with the jaw intact.
Clown doll. Oldest looking in the trunk. Red on the mouth. Put it back in the box. And I know I closed the lid.
--
Sasha - Calli-OH-pee or Call-EYE-opee?
Jon - Greek muse.
--
Pressed a key, shouldn’t have made a sound. Made a loud howling sound.
Played a tune - from grandpa, tune called “Faster, Faster” - felt something
Clown doll looking at me. Smile seemed slightly wider.
Josh - impressed by the calliope, freaked out by the dolls.
Began to play the tune, faster and faster, Josh stopped me, wanted to leave.
Discovered that Josh was just another asshole after all.
Put the boxes up in the loft.
The lid was open again, and the clown doll was on top. Looking at a doll I hadn’t seen before, a doll that looked like Josh.
Police report - someone broke into the house, calliope and steamer trunk were taken.
Two people taking out red metal and brass pipes. [Breekon & Hope maybe]
Josh was found four days later. Throat was crushed, jaw was torn off.
He said he heard the music.
[faint calliope music]
Irene Harlan saw the trunk and calliope.
Tim said it reminded him of traveling circuses in Europe. Looked it up, found a 1948 photograph in Minsk. Gregor Orsinov, ringmaster, Nikolai Deniken, organist.
Circus of the Other.
In the Magnus Institute artefact storage is the calliophone.
Idk if this is anything, but the fact that the case in tma 24, with the calliope that says 'be still for there is strange music', is gone after prentiss' attack, where she asks 'do you hear their song?' Among the squirming worms.... hm, interesting
I just realized the doll's heads in Thrown Away, and the dolls from Strange Music episode. Mate.
"Be still, for there is strange music."
