yeah, to put it short, alex was saying in tma discord that they wanted to put in the end a kiss initially, but it sounded bad, so they settled on clothes rustling and a hug instead

TMA 170 is both fantastic and depressing. Because on one hand: hey! A light at the end of the tunnel and the depressed person saves themselves with a bit of support.

On the other hand, my brain is like “yeah well, we don’t have anyone who cares about us so you’re gonna be stuck being alone your whole life mate”

the fact this episode kind of goes into why martin was always so eager to talk to the tape recorders... among everything else, this was so well done. It’s a terrible episode anxiety wise but I’m so glad we finally get an entire monologue of Martin’s.
