In this AU Celestia is the queen of Equestria. I’m still tweaking her design but I’ll post what I’ve come up with so far here (extras under cut). In terms of her role in the main story, it’s not so prominent outside of the influence her actions tend to have if that makes sense? So when I say that “she” booted twi to ponyville, it’s more that she gently suggested it to twi’s parents.

I think I’ve mentioned it before, but twi’s family are close with Celestia through her allyship with the Crystal Empire. Her and twilights relationship is still slightly mentor-mentee but it’s nowhere near as close nor as intimate.

I think the queen has better things to do than worry about the daughter of her ally’s strange codependent situationship (university style)

It’s mainly just for fun!! I cannot commit to keeping up with a comic and my ideas are too all over the place. It’s also likely that writing will never happen because of my tendency to stare at a blank page for an hour thinking about how much easier it would be to just draw it.
