The funniest thing about this fandom to me is that it will ask for things like more worldbuilding concepts of Primus as the living planet-god of Cybertron/who IS Cybertron and how that affects the role of the Primacy and what religion is. But then the TF writers give it to us (TF One) and instead of exploring unique alien worldbuilding and opportunities to dive into ethnoreligions, people are so entrenched in cultural Christianity veiled in secularism that they will just instantly go "Clearly the Primacy is exactly the same as the Christian Roman Catholic Church and having a society with leadership based on religion is inherently evil and oppressive. I can't believe the writers tried to convince us that theocracy is based. I am very smart" and think that they're clever, creative, and politically based for completely missing the point
