One sunny day, Bea finds a toad in the garden and rushes in. The only one who is there is Danny and Bea jumps at her.

A Very Hoppy Storytime
It was a cacophony of ribbits, croaks, and even a few rabbits at storytime this week! We celebrated frogs in all their different forms. We read...
I'm a Frog! by Mo Willems Too Many Frogs by Sandy Asher Ribbit Rabbit by Candace Ryan Noisy Frog Sing-Along by John Himmelman
In Noisy Frog Sing-Along, we learned about different types of frogs, toads, and even a relative of the frog who can't make any sounds at all! Each animal makes a different sound--from little peeps to loud, deep croaks.
Miss Kristine and I read I'm a Frog together, as we do with all of the Elephant & Piggie books. They're just so much fun to act out! Then, we used puppets for Ribbit Rabbit.
Our craft was an interactive Toad Abode for the kids to take home and put in their backyards. We painted terracotta pots with beautiful, bright paints to decorate our toads' future homes, then sent everyone off with instructions on what to do with their abode once they got home.
Wednesday, the 30th is our last storytime of the spring. Join us for some fun in the wilderness before our break until summer storytime!
