Original Art - The Incredible Hulk #02 Cover Recreation
Art by Jack Kirby
From ha.com...
The King of Comics, Jack Kirby, faithfully re-creates his classic cover to The Incredible Hulk #2, the first to feature the iconic green-skinned Hulk as he bursts in on the Toad Men's video call with General Thunderbolt Ross and his daughter, Betty. While Kirby includes trade dressing and word balloons, all text aside from the title and issue information is missing, leaving fans to "fill in the blanks" (or not!). Rendered in pure graphite at twice-up scale with a 13.5" x 20.5" image area, the piece displays some handling wear, including corner creases. The back of the board is stamped with "A Jack Kirby Re-Creation," while the front shows some graphite smudging. Kirby has signed the art in the bottom right margin.
