A commission for my Furcadia buddy Sabe, featuring Emperor Kal Kanzo, sovereign of the Stredlands and head of the House of Kanzo.

As his throne room was built in an anti-magic zone, and his family's magical "gimmick" is being immune to those, if you are seeing this view, you'd better hope the Emperor is in a good mood, as he's the only one who can use spells.

House Aruzen began as warriors, wielding summoned crystal weaponry and barriers to fight. After a calamity that hobbled their House's magic, they have rebranded to a house of healing and succour.

House Dior has always guarded the western mountain borders of the Stred against the barbarians beyond. Their family specializes in mixing sorcery and swordplay, and their territory's rich gold deposits have let them maintain a powerful army and economy despite the relative starkness of their home.

House Kanzo was the force that brought the feuding states of the Great Houses together under the Treaty of Stred. They act as mediators, with a reputation as fair but unforgiving.

House Menscherfiend is one of the newest inductees to the Treaty, with the abjurer Turan the Breaker winning his Baron title through a Trial of Holding. Some of the other Houses see them as lowly upstarts, unworthy of nobility. Their claim to fame besides the Trial is a pact with Forces Beyond for their magical power.

House Stolzerhund was one of the first signatories to the Treaty of Stred, and if you ask them, they were THE first House. While they're generally seen as unpleasant, haughty, and self-absorbed, their mastery of numerous forms of magic have afforded them considerable power. You may not like dealing with the Stolzerhunds, but in a lot of situations, you have to.

A couple more antagonist NPCs for my D&D 5E game that the players just recently met!

Brother Horiver, represented as the King of Swords, is an agent of the Kibian Church of Sol. He's a powerful spellblade with a reputation for unwavering determination and an unflinching dedication to the keeping of his word. He describes himself as a monster, knowing he's employed as a weapon against the Church's problems.

Duko Rimetooth, represented as the Eight of Swords, was born in the town of Allamel, now Quartzburrow. He very early on manifested curious abilities related to a long-forgotten heritage, and was taken into the custody of the Church. His abilities make him a terrifying weapon of the Church, a blunt instrument comparable to a siege engine. He does not enjoy this fate.

My D&D group just finished a trip to the World Below (my world's version of the Underdark, cribbed from Matt Colville) where they met and befriended the Deep Kobolds of the Tonne tribe!

On the left we have Chief Mura Tonne, the elder and leader of the Tonnes. He holds the Scepter of Nydhayl, a symbol of authority said to have once been a gift to the Tonnes from a dragon who protected them in ages past.

On the right is Commander Mask Blackshield, the leader of the Tonnes' only military group, the Spears of Tonne. He wields the Black Shield, supposedly made from the scales of the same dragon that granted the tribe the Scepter the chief carries. Here he's wearing armour and wielding a spear made from chitinous kruthik plating that the PCs recovered for the Spears to make into equipment for upgrades!

To send out 2025, here's some stuff I've done but hadn't posted yet! (I have more things done, they're just characters my players haven't met yet, so expect more 2025 art for a bit as we go!)

First, we have Brother Nesen, the Knight of Swords. He's a "cowboy priest" type whose reactions made him seem almost precognitive.

Second, Sibling Ercan, a fey infiltrator who had been causing trouble in Quartzburrow using their flawless shapeshifting to get places they shouldn't have been. Bit of a knife nut, which makes sense for a former servant of the archfey known as the Marquis of Blades.

Next, some NPCs for a Pathfinder 2nd Edition game I've been running. The party is part of the Maynet Alliance Joint Exploration League, or MAJEL, tasked with exploring a new continent that was recently discovered. I wanted the NPCs to sort of have a similar feel to the team from Atlantis the Lost Empire; quirky, but clearly capable.

Chef Zeal is a tiefling from Unidola, who was part of a travelling circus for much of her life. She learned how to cook practically anything she can get her hands on, and serves as the head chef for the expedition.

Doc Nona is a surgeon from the nation of Brownhill, who earned a reputation as a miracle worker when she provided the key insights that led to the curing of a dangerous plague outbreak. She's a Southern Sweetheart type, and technically a cultist, but her medicine is all mundane.

Tinker Meekum is a kobold originally from the nation of Quartzburrow. They're a mechanical genius, and now work for the Golden Scale to maintain the "Stallion" electric carriages that have been provided to MAJEL for use in exploring the New World. They're also very excitable, and spend most of their day hung from a magically-controlled gantry in the ceiling of their workshop.

Finally, we have a couple of Furcadia character pieces!

The first one shows one of Rainbow Bay's most notable polycules together on a cuddle couch! Left to right we've got: Kim, a big chimera with a bigger heart; Shawna, local Shenanigans Vixen and de facto mayor; Terra, one of the blacksmiths in town and the only full-time guy in the group; Lazinine, a travelling singer and enjoyer of good music; Wyllo, part-time guy in the group and probably the one who organized the photo.

Second, we have Wyllo in this year's Hallowe'en costume. The polycule decided their group costume theme was "Sexy Red Riding Hood," and Wyllo ended up with the Grandmother. I very deliberately referenced the Big Bad Wolf from Shrek for this, and I think he pulls it off.

An NPC for my D&D game, a healer named Blueberry!

Clerics of Alenia, also known as Priests of the Braid, are often powerful healers. Those rare few who take an oath of pacifism, moreso. When Blueberry came to Quartzburrow in the wake of its independence from Kibia, her skills as a doctor were instrumental in helping the fledgeling city-state get back on its feet.

Fun fact: Blueberry is a nickname. Her proper given name is a poem in Draconic, about a desert blossom at night.

This is the version of my kobold sorcerer Azure for the D&D game I'm running, where she's the leader of the city-state of Quartzburrow.

I had a lot of fun painting the crystals!

More TTRPG stuff, specifically three new tokens for Kopio, and a portrait of my kobold shield-maiden Tazruk in her Pathfinder 2E incarnation for a new game!

Kopio is able to become a Heirophant Medusa with Shapechange, and they recently gained an upgrade to their Wild Shape that let them take on bigger forms, here a Duramboros from Monster Hunter and a Ceratops from D&D proper.
