The two biggest secrets being kept are Tian’s heart transplant and Torfun’s death. Both are intricately linked and both are hurting Tian more than he knows.
Here he is, following his second chance at life... only to find out that what he’s following isn’t gone.
Torfun isn’t dead here. Her heart is still beating in her chest, she’s still out there, she’s still loved and they’re waiting for her to come back.
Tian isn’t alive here. Because her heart is still hers, isn’t hers yet, isn’t in his chest. How can he live when her heart is still hers?
Tian is doing his best. But he’s going to suffocate on secrets, he’s going to bury himself trying to pretend nothing happened, trying to pretend that he’s not on his second chance at life.
Torfun is in every inch of the village,in every person that speaks to him, every person that ignores him, every conversation about his position. She’s not an echo here, she’s not just a journal, she’s a living memory.
The village is holding their breath for a return that will never happen.
And Tian can’t breath.

Honey honey: Khai/ Third
Gimme gimme: Tharn/Type
When I kissed the teacher: Fighter/Tutor
Angel eyes: Pha/Yo
Lay all your love on me: Pete/Ae
I have a dream: Phupha/Tian

Why do people overreach when there’s hardly enough evidence
But when the evidence is so obvious no one sees
Why was Tian’s license plate made public and what was the reason his parents sold his car if the damage was literally already done? I don’t think he did what he thinks he did
Why did Nam do so much digging? And why did he already know Tian’s license plate number? And if he knew what that number meant why didn’t they bother looking for it before?
A normal thought process would’ve been “maybe he didn’t tell us who he was cause he didn’t want to make everyone upset”
Not
“Yeah he seems very sinister and he made the same food my dead friend made so he must have murdered her and ate her heart”
"I like it strong"
"I am strong"
"Meant the coffee..."
"Me too..."
