Szeth and stormlight era 2
so i was on r/cosmere being lazy (as i do) and i saw a post speculating about SA era 2, more specifically book 10 and its start. The idea was somewhat along the lines of what if brandon started it with
"szeth son neturo hero of shinovar wore white on the day he was to kill a god."
It's a pretty good idea/theory and it DOES have some backing since we know that brandon likes symmetry, especially with starting lines and hes done something like it before in mistborn book 1
mistborn 1 starts with "ash fell from the sky," and when kelsier is going to fight the steel inquisitor he hits us with the
"dead and dying men collapsed on the cobblestone. skaa crowdedd the road prisnors cried out calling his na,e heat from a smoky sun burned the streets
and ash fell from the sky."
so i deffntly think he could and probably will do something like that my guess is that it will go something like this:
szeth son neturo savior of shinovar wore white on the day we were to kill a god. the white clothing was a Parsi tradition. it reminded him of a day long ago much like this. but this time. the stakes where much higher
In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if he paralleled the entire prologue for WOK for stormlight 10. In fact, imagine he starts with 10 with szeth going to kill odium only to fail and the roles be reversed and him be killed by his target. i dont think that will happen since szeth + nightblood are pretty important agianst todium but well have to wait and see.
