I saw someone say "you cannot appeal to the sympathy of those who actively want you dead. The only proper response to violent oppression is equally violent resistance".

And tbh this sort of thing is what the writers should've had King's dad say to Luz in order to convince her that there was no saving Belos. But instead the writers decided to act like Belos didn't actually believe he was doing good by killing witches and that he only cared about power and was just plain evil which contradicts literally everything they've showed us in the show thus far.

Now that I think about it,thanks to them was the perfect opportunity for them to have willow suppressing her emotions instead of her... pretty much doing absolutely nothing. It could've foreshadowed her arc in for the future but nooo they had to randomly bring it up then wrap it up in 2 minutes for shipping moments

I feel like the scene where Gus and Hunter connect doesn't get enough mention.

They're both very vulnerable in this scene and I just love it. They feel like brothers and it's really cute.

However the scene is really sad all things considered. Like Gus is the youngest in the group and while he looks like he's having fun and holding himself together well, he's not.

In this moment Gus admits he is not happy, but he's glad that Hunter is. He misses home, but he probably doesn't want to talk to the others because he knows they miss it too.

Can’t help but see the similarities between these two, especially after seeing the collector explain their backstory and his trust issues. I would’ve loved to have seen Gus share some words of wisdom with the collector about how he overcame his problems with trust/being used and how he developed honest, healthy friendships…
