Mrs. Beaver (Shadow's sweet foster parent who's around 65) said she wanted a cat and took Shadow with her to pick one out—even though she likes cats, it was mostly for him. Shadow picked the name from a book he read once.

New and hopefully more readable version of this relationship chart that I find really funny because everyone just wants to fight.

These are obviously more nuanced and change as the characters develop but take this as the set up for their story :^).

The arrow is pointing at the target of the feeling so for example Koti feels friendly towards Tuho and Tuho feels neutral towards Koti

Life has been slowing down lately after a rather turbulent autumn and I’m grateful for it. I have even had time for long mid-afternoon naps with my cats who are the best nap-buddies.
