Elliot was a coward. He had run from a lot of the things that scared him.

But as he brought his hand up to caress Tokiyo's head, slowly nudging him closer to his shoulder after weeks of avoiding his touch, he began to believe that he ought to stop running at this point.

God, he was just a kid. Tokiyo was stubborn in proving himself otherwise, but Elliot saw through it now, like wiping away at fogged glass.

He felt like a major jerk. His karma. But maybe there was a good thing in that—in his regret.

It meant there was a chance for redemption. It meant he was willing for a chance to fix the hurt he's caused.

So he sat there in that quiet space, the scent of smoke thick under his nose and endlessly reminding him of home like some broken time loop, and waited with Tokiyo for the embers to die out.

No words were spoken. Elliot found he resembled his asshole father in that likeness, hiding behind the silence when words felt like too much of a burden, too heavy to lift from his ashen tongue.

But unlike him, his hands did not rush to hurt, and he did not try to hide the evidence of his weakness under layers of bruises. There was no mistake here for him to hide here.

He was his father's son, but he had grown up a lot, hadn't he?

A really heartwarming moment. Even if Kanshi doesn't have faith in himself right now due to Tokiyo's manipulation, his friendship with Morihito gives him the strength to go on. Considering how the two of them started, this is a really great moment that lets us see how much Kan has grown over the course of the series

I really like those two,they look pretty neat

this is how tokiyo looked pre movie, pretty energetic and (semi) full of life huh?yeah that didn't last long.

As I said before(I think;-;) tokiyo met the turtles when he was a kid, specifically Mikey who formed a great friendship with him.the turtles don't know much about toke's life at this point in the series other than the fact that he lives in the undercity.

He used to be pretty energetic and could easily match anyone's energy in the room.just a mischievous boi who didn't know what was coming for him.

Throughout season 1 and 2 tokiyo's often on Mikey's side against his brothers when they refuse to let Mikey go on solo missions(mainly raph) he lets Mikey breath yet would still immediately back him up if anything goes wrong.

Mikey was crushing on tokiyo for a while with the boy being oblivious or trying to be(he had a girlfriend at the time but didn't tell the turtles) so basically we got one crushing mf badly trying to hide his crush on his best friend x oblivious mf who's taken til later on
