spotify sucks. buy music from the artists you enjoy 🔪
its that time of year again. so instead of yapping about wrapped how about we pay the artists we love by participating in BANDCAMP FRIDAY this friday december the 5th, when bandcaml waives ALL their revenue sharing and 100% of what you pay gets to the artist you bought from

one of the worst things about fandom is when people headcanon a certain character as gay and suddenly that becomes the only valid, practically unofficial-official canon reading of that character's sexuality. gay. just gay. character has shown romantic or sexual desire for women? it's comphet, don't worry, he's still gay. character isn't interested in sex much at all? it's because he hasn't fucked a man, obviously. character has lots of women friends? they are the hags to his fag, he's gay, why are you even trying. and it all seems like a very Transformative and Woke way to read a character until you step back and realize how much biphobia, acephobia, misogyny, and transphobia are baked into the adamant refusal to accept The Character as anything other than gay. it's horrendous, actually. but you will get shot in the streets for this.
been getting into dweu stuff recently
I am once again begging you to get your hands on physical media and/or save your fave stuff OFFLINE.
it bugs me how many lesbians have issues with trans women. like, we're supposed to love women. what's next, you gonna start hating short people too? fuck off.
AND TRANS GUYS. "ooohhhhh they're betraying womanhood" no, they're men. jfc not everything is a personal attack some people are just guys.
reblog this version too actually
i dont think whites understand how being white makes literally everything easier.
it effects everything.
being trans is easier when youre white.
being gay is easier when youre white.
being disabled is easier when youre white.
being a woman is easier when youre white.
being autistic is easier when youre white.
oppression is eased when you are white, as you get extra privileges, and your whiteness is seen as a positive characteristic that in some ways counter-balances your other forms of being a minority. whiteness controls everything.
you are automatically way more innocent in your own oppression as a gay, trans, disabled person because of your whiteness.
never forget this.
three things:
1. it’s true
2. white people get pissed when i bring this up/wear this shirt
3. the comments to this thread melted my fucking eyeballs seriously why the fuck are y’all like this
white people you don’t need to say you’re white when you reblog this btw. you don’t even need to mention it btw
i think they should bring back question mark motifs to the doctor’s wardrobe

"They hate us all": True! A helpful reminder that assimilation will not save you.
"They hate us all equally": False. An attempt to obscure the ways in which anti-queer policies are disproportionately targeted at trans women, especially trans women of color. A retread of that classic white feminist error of assuming all women have a "common oppression", which obscures race and class differences among women.
