I think Tom wants to be Thawne full-time so that's why they killed off the Wells'
Listen, I love Tom Cavanaugh as HR, Harry and every other version of Harrison Wells he's played. I also love all the villains we've had over the past seasons of The Flash. But nothing will ever beat the emotion and suspense and absolute anguish I felt when I watched Tom Cavanaugh and Carlos Valdes as the RF and Cisco in that one scene in "Out of Time" (1x15) and that's why imo season 1 still remains the best season of The Flash.
(Not to mention like everything else in that episode and season!)

How did Eobard Thawne take possession of Nash Wells? He's not dead. How did a man who is not dead, take possession of another living body? Everyone is accepting this new development without questioning how it happened. Is this another piece of contrived writing from the Arrowverse producers, so they can continue using Tom Cavanaugh to portray Thawne, even though Matt Letscher should have been portraying him since Season 4?
