This edit was somewhat inspired by the fic Aurora Polaris by AGlassRoseNeverFades on ao3. I love their work, and this fic in particular. There’s something so special about Harry’s good nature, driving and compelling him to want to cradle the horcrux he’d always carried, and how Voldemort would take advantage of that. How perhaps selfishly, Harry might not want to let it go. How pleased, how delighted Voldemort would be, to get to watch Harry face that truth. If you haven’t read it, definitely give it a read! It’s so worth it. It’s one of my favorite tomarrymort fics for sure 💚❤️
